Latu Fainu has to have a shoulder reconstruction, according to Richo on BTR today. Back early rounds in '26 🙁

Just heard that... This kids injury run is the worst.

Great player, good kid. I don’t think we can continue to risk losing our 1/2 for most of the season to injury

I think we need to look into having him play lock with Javon/Adam working the 7

reminds me of Benji's early days, every time he would get tackled or tackle someone I would hold my breath.....hopefully Latu gets his shoulder sorted and has as good a career as his coach...he certainly has the potential.

Sure will set him back , but also set our team back we need to get players training pre season in position AD. Our lock ? Now goes to half , maybe the kid is made of glass , it’s only early but gee he has terrible luck with injury

I rememeber a few years ago Maiko Sivo and Doeuihi did their ACLs on the same weekend. Sivo had his surgery the Monday after it, Doeuihi for some reason had his done 4 weeks after. Understand there may have been other reasons, but it feels like our club is always behind the pace on injuries.

reminds me of Benji's early days, every time he would get tackled or tackle someone I would hold my breath.....hopefully Latu gets his shoulder sorted and has as good a career as his coach...he certainly has the potential.

Benji will be a good mentor for him through this period given his own shoulder recons at a young age.

From memory they had to wait for swelling to go before doing it
Was definitely a reason for delay on one of his injuries

Doesn't this make the decision to extend Doueihi and add Jock Madden to the squad look smart now.

Latu always seems to end up on the sidelines it's concerning, just hope his body hardens up as he gets older.
