He got the ball a few times today and didnt look like running once.
I have backed him being slowly brought back into the team to get reps on the board but at the moment he is showing nothing. Very predictable.

He is not the sane confident player that he was a couple of seasons back.
Is that lack of direction and poor coaching or is it the players fault ?
What do you expect when we have a coaching staff that has no idea how to develop players.
Latu should be playing reggies in the halves and let him earn his call up.
Playing him 2 seasons off the bench will do him zero long term good especially when he is being pushed around all other positions.
That’s on Benji more than Latu.

I am not going to point the finger, but he is playing like a robot. There were times where I thiught he should of ran and he just acted as a pivot and passed the ball.
Something has to change.

A lock runs the ball. Latu doesnt.
I agree, he is a dynamic ball runner who no longer looks tj have the confidence to run the ball.
I would rather him be a ball hog and run the ball at every opportunity, rather than play the way he is at the moment.

He isn’t a lock… he should be playing in the halves, especially with Luai gone.
His tackle technique and fitness levels are terrible for being a lock.

Agree, can only think he is following coaching instructions to a T and a part of that is almost to protect his hammies for a season. I don’t get it either.

Not sure this is entirely fair.. he was asked to play 25mins today at hooker, lock and centre (and this has been the case for majority of first grade for him this year). He is a half. And can be a very good one. Watch last weeks cup game v manly for a little look into what he can do

I rate Andrews a better halves player than Latu
I dont think tigers drop AD anytine soon so choice probably needs to be latu or Andrews to partner him in 2028

No he is not. He has been riddled with injuries the past 3 seasons. That is going to mess with the best of players.
There are a handful of games he started for us and looked a star. A game at leichardt vs manly and another vs roosters at Allianz.

I am backing Andrews to have a better career than Latu and in my opinion Andrews is the better player
Knowing how the club operates we are probably forced to keep latu (to apease family).
Andrews kicks on at another club and goes in to play rep football
