Lawrence

It's Ok I just merge them..

Not doing much for the headache though..

I feel for the guy. We had guys like Dwyer and Tuiaki have their careers ended playing for us. Dwyer is a what could have been story, and Tuiaki has probably the biggest cult following of any player that’s played for us. They are both remembered fondly. Lawrence suffers a crippling injury. He was still screaming in pain as he got into the ambulance and had to be sedated when they put his hip back into place. It was a horrifying injury. And now some of you look at him with utter disdain. It’s wrong.

Far out this guy cops it from left right and centre.

He and Brooks will always be the fall guy after any loss.

He has been great this year.

11\. Lawrence - 67 metres in attack, 7 runs, 22 tackles

Was that enough to make up for the penalties and numerous handling errors?

Here's hoping Sue, McQueen and Fellise can force there way but at who's expense if it's not Lawrence.

It more than made up for the poor passes he received, and the 50/50 penalty against him.

Look for someone else to blame for the loss.

Look I am normally a fan but he had rather a poor game last night.
He runs poor lines and hardly ever breaks a tackle. And his handling lets him down.
To me he is off the bench utility which can cover back row, lock or (know he has issues since his injury, and speed has left him) center. Not sure what to do with him but there are better options for starting second row spots.

He's had some immense defensive plays/hits in the last few games and has put his hand up for some dirty metres. I think the short ball on the line from Brooks should be permanently removed from the play book. It goes wrong 95% of the time. Just like how Steve Waugh shelved playing the short ball and became a legend…

Russell. ..Rowdy only received one poor pass yesterday the 1st one..at his shoulder and way too hard …

The other 2 errors came after he caught it and in the tackle ..i am one of his biggest supporters but lets not try and shift responsibility...

The thing is all players even the elite of the elite make errors ...the great thing is as a team the Wests Tigers are defending these errors like never before. ..it is quite a positive actually. ..

How Long?

3 Crucial drop balls last night, as well as giving away a critical penalty on the 4th last night that had Brisbane level at 6-6.

He played well last week but his good games are rare as hens teeth …

Overall ...garbage player

That's Captain Garbage from you…

Seriously Geo , enough is enough
Captain Nuffie has been milking a wage from this club for way too long

I think he should send his mrs out to work and join the local play group with his kid !
We deserve better !

2 weeks ago everybody was kissing his you know what.
yeah he wasn't our best but he made some massive runs to relieve pressure and wasn't weak in defense.
There were 3 other penalties last night also so maybe we should be talking about dropping a quartet of players?
Id give him the weekend off to spend with his family over Easter and tell him hes in the rd 5 game but he needs to focus on holding the ball because there's plenty of depth to cover a player not up to scratch.
Our team wont grow towards success if we drop players with this cut throat attitude, they will be playing in fear instead of with confidence.

He runs poor lines? What are you talking about? He is the only edge player in the side who can a decent line.

That maybe so - I am sure he is allowed as many errors as others in the team or is that not on.

He wasn't the only player to drop a ball (or 2), or give away a penalty. He defended really well and put a couple on a few donkey's. He also took quite a few dirty hit ups - didn't make a 100 metres no but they really counted.

Every week it is the same few players who are singled out - Rowdy, Kev and now MWZ etc. It wouldn't matter if they had 50 tackles each and made 150 metres each there would be people on hear with agendas saying they should be dropped, sent to England and so on. If we had lost the three games they would have been lynched.

I better be careful, I suppose Geo, you will be saying I am in love with Rowdy as well. That would be bad news creating a ménage à trois eh!

What..?

Well I stood up for another player who is injured at the moment and you suggested I must be in love with him.

By standing up for Rowdy I may get the same comment giving rise to three.
