Are the nay Sayers going to comment on Brooks kicking game against Brisbane?

Just about everyone has commented that his general organizational and kicking skills was the difference compared to the fiasco that was yesterday.

So our season is not a write off? That's nice.

No one has the season is a "right off" but many have said that yesterday was pathetic and the team was poorly coached and lacked direction.Today does NOT change what happened yeasterday.

Wow.

Ow hope you are OK.

There a lot of assuming here.

One thing for sure we are not a club that is comfortable sitting on top of the competition such as the cowboys that are that comfortable with the competition they fielded their best players for the 9s.

At this point We are a club that's using all their resources to get in the top 8\. For this reason I agree with Taylor's decision to not put many resources into this fluffy competition."(quote Nucky Thompson)

Penrith have made the final with 10 players yet to play NRL, so it can be done, and proves the poo we dished up yesterday was unexcetable.

Paul Green let Ponga go. Shocking coach.

Paul Green does not pick a plodder every week regardless of how bad he performs, or pick a plodder out of position on the wing, then move him out of position to hooker every game either.

But he let a potential superstar walk

Hmm

Perhaps. but we can say the negative Nancy s were out in full force . They were very upset.

bahahaha!!!!
If a halfback can't get a kicking game right in a 9's format his got no hope , you have open space everywhere and if you kick early just like the Panthers did to Parra and have pace ? it becomes a foot race like when Blake beat French for pace in the semis .

So Brooks is in for a big year ? can't wait his finally going to give some value back to the Club on a consistent basis .
If he played crap the last game ? the Brooks lovers would of come out and said it's only a 9's format what relevance does that have to a 13 a side game ?

When balancing your books sometimes you will loose out on players that will go elsewhere for (a) more of an opportunity (b) offered more money (C) playing in a better side which will give you more chance of playing semi final footy etc….. in Ponga's case i think it's safe to say that (b) would of been the likely cause of him leaving not that Green wanted him gone .

JAC case was totally different , he kept persisting with Rankin all year .

I'm going for the Pamfers …..cause..... If the Rorters win I'll have to put up with my young bloke for a month...

Except JAC was offered a contract…He chose (B)...even tried to backflip when having second thoughts...

It's okay, the Cowboys have two legitimate 'superstars' coming through the juniors. One a fullback and one a centre.

Geo when JAC signed for Melbourne he wasn't getting a look in when clearly there was a winger favouritism happening from Taylor .
Geo unless your JAC's Manager you won't know….the Club could of re-buffed there offer to him and said try getting out of your deal with Storm , there must of been an avenue that presented itself for him in trying to get out of the deal with Storm if not it would of been a straight forward signing .

Melbourne are going to love having JAC on the end of their backline this year. His pace is such a weapon.

He is looking good, but Col doesn't rate him.

Who said that I did not rate him?

Let's be serious here. His defence could be a lot better. I know to which wing I would be running when playing the Storm. What about you?
