Yes, the accountability does not change. Not matter the ability, effort and attitude of the players on the field, it is always someone elses fault.

The Warriors don't seem to care either, and they are perennial favourites. So we're not the only ones.

And that is one of the reasons why they are probably the biggest underachievers as a club in the whole of the NRL since its inception. The Warriors are the biggest hoaxes in our game, have had talent coming out of their proverbial but never that winning culture and willingness to go above and beyind to win. That is why they are still without a premiership after 22 seasons, despite all the talent-laden players they have had year after year.

I'll reserve my judgement on the effort till after this afternoons game

Regardless of the effort we put in against Melbourne, the bottom line is our first-up effort and application was nowhere near acceptable. Good clubs put in their best effort every game.
Watching Brad Arthur yelling at his players, displaying passion and reinforcing gameplans at halftime when they were comfortably in front versus NZ just shows that they are fully committed to playing their best. That is what you want to see from your club.

Winning is what it is all about, when you go into anything without a wining attitude you create major problems down the track. I really just don't get the club and their attitude, they had a big chance to promote memberships, promote future commercial partnerships and generally promote their brand name but in fact they do the opposite by treating the nines as a bit of a joke.

Anyway certainly not the end of the world, but he certainly is not good for the brand name
