I’m an Alex Seyfarth fan, but if we are full strength for round 2 I don’t think he makes our 19 as Murray offers more variety with his deceptive short passing game and his jink and change of direction when running the ball. Seyfarth a slightly better defender, but not much in it.Charlie Murray much improved player it seems
Agree 100% with Latu, Andrews and Madden around there are interesting options at 6 and 7Tend to agree but we can’t be tolerating too many basic errors like giving away cheap 20m restarts. His game management needs to improve to hold the spot.
Seyfarth needs coaching more than anyone. Love his enthusiasm but sometimes he needs to take a backseat and let the more skilful players have their moments.I’m an Alex Seyfarth fan, but if we are full strength for round 2 I don’t think he makes our 19 as Murray offers more variety with his deceptive short passing game and his jink and change of direction when running the ball. With Bunty Afoa, Makasini and Skelton all starting, my bench would be;
14. Hope
15. Murray
16. Sione Fainu
17. Pole
18. Hunt
19. To’a
Madden’s game management was a highlight of both trials and with Luai an off the cuff player, I can’t help thinking Madden will end up in the 7.Agree 100% with Latu, Andrews and Madden around there are interesting options at 6 and 7
In my opinion Seyfarth is a very valuable workaholic bench middle forward and he never lets us down when playing that role.Seyfarth needs coaching more than anyone. Love his enthusiasm but sometimes he needs to take a backseat and let the more skilful players have their moments.
And just play the bloody ball quickly.
His basic errors, brain explosions and unnecessary niggle actually do let us down though. That’s all very coachable and I hope he can get it out of his game this year.In my opinion Seyfarth is a very valuable workaholic bench middle forward and he never lets us down when playing that role.
But I think he’s now in direct competition with Charlie Murray for that role and I could not be more impressed with the improvement I’ve seen with CM in both trial games. We lack a deceptive short passing game within our middle forwards and Charlie provides that as well as plenty of energy and effort.
When Terrell, KPP and Royce are fit and we get a look at Roberts and he impresses I don't have a spot for Seyfarth in my side.In my opinion Seyfarth is a very valuable workaholic bench middle forward and he never lets us down when playing that role.

You want competition for spots. I have him as our third best second rower and one of our more experienced players, I want to see his execution match his effort this year. You want competition for spots. Seyfarth is in our squad and will compete.
My favourite Wests Tigers players of all time are Luke Brooks, Asu Kepaoa, Robert Jennings, and Alex Seyfarth. Absolute legends the lot of them. It was a special time when they were all on the park, there was some serious rugby league played at that time. Are you the original Luke Brookes fan? Name and profile pics is uncanny
looks confidentNo I’m saying if opponents look like beating him for speed he has the long levers to reel them in.
I knew he had talent from watching him play for Qld U/19’s last season, but he has far outweighed my expectations so soon.
Few coach killers in that lot.My favourite Wests Tigers players of all time are Luke Brooks, Asu Kepaoa, Robert Jennings, and Alex Seyfarth. Absolute legends the lot of them. It was a special time when they were all on the park, there was some serious rugby league played at that time.
