I d not agree with this assessment at all.1. Douhie can’t tackle with his right shoulder. It’s a problem when defending on the right because it means you have to put your head in front of the ball carrier’s body to make contact with your left shoulder. It’s why he broke his jaw last year. Saw him do it again last night. It’s also why he gets beaten on the outside a lot when defending on the right edge. Compare it to how well he defended when playing left centre for us. I am disappointed he has not worked on this over the off season.
When you are on the right, you lead with your inside shoulder - the left.
It is the hardest part of the field to defend for most people as the majority are right handed, thus their right shoulder is dominant. It is the wrong one to use.
