Love reading the live game thread after a win!!
Great being at Leichhardt tonight - awesome victory and most complete performance I can remember for a long time. Packer was brilliant especially first 25 minutes. So was Aloiai.
I haven’t heard fox or 9 commentary but I will add that in the 30 minutes from Leichhardt to home after the game 2GB did not say one positive thing about the Tigers. Not one. Best part of tonight - zero points against. Also, amazing what happens when you cut out the unforced errors.
So now pleeeaassee Tigers: follow this up with another clinical performance next week.

Channel nine were no better. All about how had the broncos were. It should have been a celebration of the tigers keeping a team to zero for the first time since 2012 while scoring 48. Our forwards monstered them and they give the MAN of the match to Payne hass, that says it all.

Our forward pack monstered theirs, and the one award they give out in recognition that night goes to a bronco.

I was angry about it at first as well until I saw highlights of the game and realised that Haas was most likely the hardest working out there last night because he was the only player in the Broncos team making metres and defending, the only one actually doing anything to stem the onslaught! Honestly, those tries we scored were soft as, I don’t think any of our guys had to work real hard to win tbh, and we actually worked as a team, so it somehow makes sense that Haas playing as a one man band would be the hardest working player. I believe Eiso got the same award in our loss against Souths the previous week.

On a side note, hope the Oates injury isn't the end of his career, so unfortunate.

Looks like the Oates injury isn’t as serious as first thought. Just a deep laceration to his thigh. Out for 3 weeks. I know he’s an opposition player but I feel relieved for him.

Seeing our boys score their first NRL try is one of my favourite things ever, Walters and McIntyre deserved it.

McIntyre has been impressive in his rookie season.

Apart from his obvious strengths, one of the things I've noticed is his "on the ball" play. He was on the spot when Holland dropped a bomb to pick it up and put Talau over in the corner. Last night he won the race for the ball to score.

He has already become a valuable member of our pack.

It’s an underrated skill to have, some blokes make careers out of just doing the 1% and popping up when needed. McIntyre as you said always seems to be around the footy. Hope we extend his contract

They played fast, physical and direct, add lighting play the balls and you have a winning formula. Next week will be a real test, but one things for certain Parra will have plenty of bruises at the end of the game

Got home and watched the last 25 minutes of the game

Just finished watching the game and one thing jumped out at me, how much i hate coaches getting sacked. Seibold must be given time to turn this Broncos team around. Hell if its true he signed for 5 years with am option of a 6th they have to give him 6.

Seriously I’m just in love with how much passion the boys are playing with. Luciano is all energy, Garner slapping the badge after scoring, Packer and Aloiai celebrating everything, Nofa playing hide heart out as per usual, seeing the boys going mental for when Billy and McIntyre scored.

They really just seem to love the club and are playing for each other and honestly that’s the best thing you can have at a club. Our boys haven’t played for each other like this in years and I love it.

They remind me of Darius Boyd and his infectious enthusiasm 🙄

I felt for him too, but maybe it’s the hardline approach that will kick him into gear. I still believe he is at his best when he thinks run first pass 2nd. You can tell he second guesses himself a lot, but his running game is damaging when on song

We need to put this game into perspective. We punished a side that is playing like reserve graders. We haven't beaten any top 8 teams yet.

Looking at the ladder predictor on NRL.com, we need to win 6 more games to make it and even then we might just miss out.

I think we can knock off:

3. Manly

We then need to pick up 3 wins from the below teams.

Roosters

It's a stat's based 'award' often going to a losing player as they're usually defending more and this forms a basis of the points
