That game was there for us to win. Usual poor game management in the back end sees our season fizzle away. Time to play the young blokes to blood them in for next year.

Benji set up so many tries, 2 our winger couldn't score cause he isn't good enough yet. JAC woulda easy. Benji did a stupid kick at the end, but for most part had a part good game ? Brooks was alright. Our halves this game I don't think we're the prob ?

He’s a selfish idiot and he cost us the game. He’s a moron.

Nah not really ! It was 1 for 1 . Benji lost us the game with grubber . I honestly reckon if we struck down the left again we would have gone in. Talau looked slow , but geez he’s powerful . He might be a weapon number 12 .

There’s no other half in the game that would have been so egotistical to take that play. It’s unforgivable. We had a real dig tonight to get back into that game. He sucks.

No denying he cost us that game.

Supporting halves like that is why we finish 9th.

Thankfully he is gone next season.

Good come back must admit I had my hopes up for a bit there

Yeah i'm happy with the comeback but we can't let teams get off to a flyer like that. We need to make sure we don't let them in we just made it harder for ourselves.

All that good work undone by one of the dumbest plays I’ve ever seen.

Wouldn't it kill you as a team mate? You have all your forward rushing up, looking for the big hits. Trying to aim up in defence. And you pull off a 1 on 1 strip! Chance to win the match. And before you can even get your breath back, Benji kicks it dead and you have to defend a 7 tackle set.

Then after the game, all the attention and accolades go to Benji. And the media can't believe we are not offering him a new contract.

Former players always remember a moment when they say the game passes them by and they know it's time to hang up the boots.

Benji, tonight was another moment. It's time mate.

Let’s celebrate that loss. Apart from first 20 minutes ..... we competed.
It’s a positive for the future.
Couple of observations.
Garner should not be in starting side. His defence and attack has been mediocre this year.
Talau is very much a question rather than a backline answer. If he has a future it’s in the forwards.
We need a ball playing lock ....... desperately.
And with roster additions we hope will eventuate next year ..... I think we just might get pat that dreaded 9th spot.

what Bout our forwards when Rabbitohs got 20-0? They were wooden spoon quality. Then twal sin bin so stupid. As well as his knock on which led to a Rabbitohs try. haven't ridden a game like that in a long time. that game summed up Benji Marshalls "illustrious" career. brilliant for extensive periods, but when push comes to shove and the game is on the line he fluffs it. it's time.

Yea it was all or nothing . And the worst part is it wasn’t on , Johnston had it covered. His defence sux more than anything . At least 2 tries were because he was hobbling or a step behind . I feel pretty good about next year if we get Tamou and JAC. Seems like what we need. Just need a half who can throw cut out passes because I'm not sure Brooks has that yet. But yeah. If we land the signings all good. We can see it's badly needed.
