Marshall HAD to let them control the last ten...step back and just link.
Instead he rolled the dice and overplayed on nearly every play. Who on earth kicks for Lawrence, the slowest, least mobile, center in the game? Just dumb.
Great chance tonight to let Brooksy close out a game...the sooner Marshall goes the better. Two great plays / eight duds. Sums up his career.

Besides Benji kicking it to Adelaide, the worst part is he had Rowdy chasing through!!! he had a 25 metre chase to the ball and pulled up with his hammys 10 to go, then he went the dive flop so it didnt look so bad. It was bad, watch the replay.

There are a number of reasons why we didn't win tonight's match including lack of forward power/ mongrel and some poor last tackle options. But we do have a right to expect better game management from our chief play makers and most experienced players when we work to get back into a match and have a chance to win in late on. That kick option on tackle 2 in last 5 minutes which went dead was an absolute killer. Sorry Benji. You have done so much for our Club but tonight I felt so angry with that play.
I can excuse AD's pot plant kick fro himself mid second half when we had 2 in the sin bin even though Souths forced their way down field and scored. He's still young and learning the game. But our Captain's kick option in the last 5 when we had chance to go through the hands and score was inexcusable tonight. My rant is now done !
