My main issue with today's game was the lack of support when someone made a line break. Everyone just sat back & watched. Expecting 1 person to make a freak play by themselves. If you look at the top teams, someone is always off the ball carriers hip, ready for an offload.

Lack of desire among many (not all) of them.... Our kicking game in general today was also woeful

Absolutely. And that's attitude. Madge has said it after a number of games to the point that he's beating a dead horse saying it anymore.

We got the win, but I wasn't impressed after 20 mins into the game.

I'm not arguing they weren't great at all ....but our middle folded so often tonight through absolutely no lateral movement

Nofa's defensive effort was disgraceful for the 1st try .....like not waiting to see if Garner could close down his opposition as well as closing the pass off by getting up in the oppositions wingers face and then closing on inside man when you have cut the pass option down .....

Simple, if the right had defended as any NRL standard right side defence should have, we win the game comfortably. Instead we have the usual attacks on Brooks,a rookie forward etc. How does Nofoaluma get to skate?

That was his 5th Field goal...

Brooks gets bagged when he doesn't do anything ..then when he does he gets bagged for doing it..

He was also involved in 3 of the Tries we scored today..chased hard all game was the guy there chasing Doueihi's bomb and on the chase in other area's ..a few kicks he put in including 2 close to the line..no one was chasing..The kick he put in that Mbye tapped back was pin point..there was no one else there to capitalise..

It is just completely ignored..

The whole right-hand side are defensively weaker and lately our middle seems to be struggling.

Do we need to be going with something similar to last year with Benji, Grub, Brooks and Liddle on the same time?
I'm also questioning Benji playing, but it's only the full 80 minutes - due to the fatigue he shows which also impacts his defence and ability to set up attacking plays. But he currently appears to be the only player at the helm.

That’s not our biggest issue . Not even remotely . Most tries scored in the last 4 weeks have been from the middle . Especially about 20-30m out. This has also been most evident in the period right before half time and just after . This also coincides with the time that we replace the starters and the bench plays .
This game , it happened when Packer went off , and Eisenhuth ran out of gas . Same as Josh .
The middle replacements HaVE to maintain the intensity. Or Packer needs to play for 50 and that’s it . Every game we have lost this year has been due to the team clocking off either side of halftime .
This is our main and only real issue . If we can solidify this then we can make a run for the 8 . Despite who we are playing .

How slow does Brooks look compared to last year where he was probably one of the quickest in the team.
