Good recovery. Sucks to let the deficit slip out again on the last play of the half but they have tried to dig in instead.of letting the game go. Mbye, Offa and Stef made the difference.

Honestly believe we are unlucky to be behind by ten. Pretty sure Guffo ran obrtsuction on Moses in the lead up to Niukore's try and Brown passing off the deck was ordinary too, especially when they called Moses for exactly the same thing later on.

I just don’t understand why, even with a bigger pack, we can’t tackle a player and wrap up the ball with two players like every other team in the comp can.... we need three guys minimum, and we still aren’t guaranteed to lock up the ball.... forever leaving ourselves short when the STILL get a quick play of the ball.... it’s pretty pathetic

About Noffa.. if you need a winger and a centre to defend 1/3 of the field by themselves, the opposition will find a way to score, doesn't matter if it's 2 on 2 or 1 on 2. No urgency from the inside

He got both his arms and body on it and it was kicked literally straight to him

It's not an easy catch, like I said not much reaction time, barely enough to even get his arms fully up at it. He's clearly got issues with the hands but that's a tough tough catch

If he hadn't had jammed in and chosen to "mark the player" like you suggested, the Eels would simply have allowed the ball to pass through the hands and would have scored simply due to their overlap. The choice to jam in was a risk that had to be taken to force a kick and possibly stop an otherwise guaranteed try

Mate its not often I call player a plodder but this guy is a lazy plodder. Garner is back to his usual crappy form.
His defence is non existent.
Talau offers absolutely nothing at centre.
And the starting forward pack is just not winning the battle.

Only a charity would support AJ after his effort in the first half. Cini may not be as fast as AJ but he is strong and better at catching a ball. Hoffman is also a likely lad for first grade. AJ will be in reserves next week for sure.

I don't think he's a good player, his inexperience really shows. Lazy is not the right word, he takes plenty of runs and normally tops our metre count. He just has issues with the hands and defensive positioning which causes us a lot of problems

Roberts was the guy to rush up. Noffa running in front of Roberts shows there is no communication.
