Good recovery. Sucks to let the deficit slip out again on the last play of the half but they have tried to dig in instead.of letting the game go. Mbye, Offa and Stef made the difference.

Honestly believe we are unlucky to be behind by ten. Pretty sure Guffo ran obrtsuction on Moses in the lead up to Niukore's try and Brown passing off the deck was ordinary too, especially when they called Moses for exactly the same thing later on.

I get the same with the obstruction but even so we had plenty of opportunities to tackle Moses and chose not to, so it deserved a try. By the rules Brown didn’t pass off the deck unfortunately. His arms were off the ground. We’ve just gotta be better at defending our line.

Problem is I feel like Parra are laying all over us and we don't get as many six again calls. I wouldn't call all tackles dominant either.

If he hadn't had jammed in and chosen to "mark the player" like you suggested, the Eels would simply have allowed the ball to pass through the hands and would have scored simply due to their overlap. The choice to jam in was a risk that had to be taken to force a kick and possibly stop an otherwise guaranteed try

Mark the player on his wing .
Not rush in like he did and chase butterflies.
Even an attempted intercept would’ve been a better option..

When you talk about defence have a look at Garner. He was too late coming in to save at least two of Parra's tries. Defence is more important fot WT than any attack Garner can provide. I am sure that the club has much better replacements for Garner.

AJ is just dumb.. but we need a strong body at the back so I feel Madge may give him another 2 weeks.

I just saw the replay of the penalty he gave against Fergo, in real time I was sure he was early. But in slo-mo he hits him almost simultaneously. The dumbness was in the fact that he wasn't looking at the ball, the ref is always gonna slide with the defence if you make it this obvious

I don’t think it’s been an issue. The problem is they play with line speed, like the rest of the top teams. Pretty much the opposite to us.

Kepao again is garbage. Any first grade player gobbles that up, it was straight to him. Don’t deserve to be in this game at all, parramatta have scored every time they’ve been in our 20. We’re being dominated up the middle by player that’s have played 10-15 minutes longer than our fresher forwards.

We had 80 seconds to defend ..why wasn't there at least one set restart ....give the defence time to reset ....they are thick as 2 planks .....

There was nothing to communicate. Even the commentators said Nofo's only play was to try and jam it as they were so far outnumbered. The play before drew in three or four defenders and then Gutherson ran the play back to that side.

The only possibility of them not scoring was Nofo (or Roberts) jamming Gutherson. If anything, it probably should have been Roberts jamming as he was the closer player.

No it didn't. Teddy was called on running behind one player last night. Moses ran behind two from memory with Guffo running into the line and it was play on. It's been a rule since 1908.

And Brown was on one arm and two knees, stationary. Moses was the same later on in a one on one tackle still in motion and called back.

No consistency.

I do agree we have to be better at defending the line though.

I must admit I’ve been a fan of AJ but now my patience has run out. Did anyone see how Kiah Cooper went in defence on the left wing in NSW Cup? I only managed to watch highlights of the tries and he looked the goods to me.

That's what I have an issue with, they should be hitting the bloke with everything they have and try and hurt him. Not give him a hug.
