I actually think that the point of the ball does cross the line. Either way we should have been ready for the kick and should have covered it up.

Can’t blame the ref or touchie as it as close and was always crossing only only ended in the Titans hands

I don't pretend to know the rules but according to the Nine commentators the Tigers' players would be penalised for touching it in the ten - hence why they had to stand off. The fact the Titan's player appears to have taken it before the line explains why we couldn't effectively cover it up.

I’ll be honest and admit to being a ref and explain a little. No one can touch the ball before the ball brakes the plane of the 10 meter line. Doesn’t matter if it is just the point.

Looking at that play I’d be more looking at Peachy being offside but I’d have to look at another replay to be sure.

Tigers defense should have been better prepared for the kick, that is what cost them not that he grabbed the ball a split Second early
