Live game thread vs gummies

Penrith look much weaker being without Cleary, and Parra without Moses and Manly look ordinary when without DCE and Melb. when they are without Munster.

And just as we predicted and thanks to that bloody clown Carrigan our team looks awfully weaker without Hastings.

Hastings must be locked up by the club long term asap.

Hastings price tag is going up by 50k every game he misses!
..and Douhi dropping by about the same..

It'l be interesting to see what his price would be when they are trying to extend him and when other clubs have also raised their eyebrows at him.

Any guesses about his price?

Just rewatching it as missed quite a bit while out at the pub for something else. James Tamou didnt take a single hit up until the 13th minute and then it was a glory crash ball a few meters out. He made a few tackles but mostly as 3rd man in. If your captain and prop isnt taking a hit up thats a sign for everyone else not to make much effort either

Think he's checked out too.

Told Papalii to do what he wants.
Some one mentioned he seemed like he's been told he's unwanted too and I'd agree.

No good but oh well,
Bring on 2023.

Atrocious

Sharks clocked off sec half...Roosters won't next week. Could be 60 plus.

Worst, slowest, front row pairing in the comp as starters...embarrassing line speed. Non existent.
Line speed a major major problem the past two weeks.

We were energetic in Brisbane, but last fortnight just lacking in any defensive resolve. Yes the forwards struggled, but your go-forward is always going to stink when you are constantly letting the opposition run 70m on a set, then trying to return the ball from your own 20. At that point in the field, the opposition has no trouble rushing you as the backs take hitups and the forwards trudge back on-side.

Our line speed was woeful from the first set; they can't possibly be tired that early.

If you even watch them closely, you'll notice that if the ball shifts right, the left side of the defence basically stands still, and vice versa. Then everyone is shocked when there's a shift or an offload and we are caught out of position, nobody defending the kick.

Several barge-over tries just embarrassing.

The coach has inherited some deep crap, but one thing that is all on him is continuing to pick Peachey every week. That absolutely weak flaccid tackle attempt on Hunt in the second half was embarrassing. He should not play for us again - offers nothing.

Townsend..Reynolds wld suggest around 750 to 800k?
He may be worth even more to WTs as we don't have any other 6 or 7s that can actually create something and/or provide leadership
On the other hand a little less as he needs speed around him to capitalise on opportunities

Good morning all. we lost but most are back. It’s not the end of the world .
You surely can’t be that disgusted today to go again with bagging the team.
It is a team playing as individuals for many reasons, the season was over long ago. The foundations for a rebuild have started , chill a bit, don’t lose your marbles.

Hynes 25 runs for 223 meters

Tamou 2 runs 8m
Kelma 2 runs 12m

Yep. First set it was evident sharks strolled for 70.odd meters

Some. Passengers in this team but can yiu blame them sheens threw in the towel publicly weeks ago

Fighting spirit 🤣
Losers attitude

He is on his way out the door , so that’s a positive

It’s a good point boonboon.
The club has seemingly tried everything to find on field leadership without much success. The club’s 2 long serving players Brooks and Nofa have offered very little and it has absolutely nothing to do with personality, but a lot to do with desire. Nofa has a game with Storm and says he’s “fell in love with the game again”
The club seriously needs to address this issue of being an unhappy camp. Otherwise signing players like Koroisau and Papali’i won’t change a thing.
