Overall, that was ok, especially given the opposition is in the 8 and some of the cattle we have at our disposal. Some supporters are hard markers I think.

If Lolo had kicked the goal off our last try, we win. At any rate, it's pretty much just trying to build up some of the players who will feature next year, get some combinations and minutes going etc.

there's only 4 teams in the top 8 that will win the comp …Melb / Sharks / Chooks and maybe Brisbane ... The rest are garbage just making up the numbers .
Parra were there to be beaten today , they were crap ..
But what kills me is our mob can't even do the basics right .
The Lolohea missed conversion was pathetic for a first grader ..
2018 won't be much different to this season ... You watch !

Making up the numbers or not the Eels are in the 8 and have won more games than we have and yet only managed to beat us by 1 point.

Our mob can't do the basics right because a number of them aren't first graders, but yeah, Lolo shouldn't have missed that goal given he's been happy enough to boot them from the sideline.

As for next year I disagree, it's a massive clean out, the pack looks better for next year than this year, which should improves things…......at least a little. Brooks though, the kid has to work on his short kicking game big time, it's lacking a lot.

Easy field goal attempt? Christ you guys are hard markers. Looked like 35m out off centre. He wasn't 15 out under the posts.

Good comment. Not an easy field goal. Brooks will have some homework during the off season with his short kicking game. Lolohea with his fitness which to me was the reason for his missed tackle. Good signs for next year. Really impressed with Eisenhuth, Twal, Marsters and co.

It wasnt easy but blokes like Cronk & JT make it easy for themselves to set up for a FG in the tackles prior, directing their forwards where they want them to go

Maybe Ink but from memory we didn't crack halfway until tackle 3 or 4 when Tedesco had that run near the sideline. It wasn't a great platform. Maybe he could have done better but the run before wasn't great so the pass to Brooks was about 10m back.

2019 could not come fast enough!
Honestly I'm praying for the Knights to win 3 more games this Season.
We just haven't learn't the club needs to be held accountable and the players leaving are part of it this year as well and should have the unwanted tag of carrying a wooden spoon with them.
Moses has been 3 times the player since he left us.
What does that say about the organisation as a whole. Add Siro to that conversation. I'm betting Tedesco and Woods are going to be twice the players playing with better organised clubs.
We try hard and that's great. But If we are going to blame anyone blame Sheens, blame the admin staff that are still here from his time, blame all the fans that think you win a game of football playing pretty. And that includes everyone that prayed for the end of Taylorball.
That being said our best players in this team weren't in the side at the start of the year and if that is a reflection on Clearys coaching and recruitment decisions well that's fill me with confidence but it will get worse. It never does the year after a mass exodus.
2019 will be the year it starts to come good for us.

Youre right I think….it was a spur of the moment deal...I thought we shouldve rolled the dice and gone for the win

Another brick in the wall as far as I'm concerned.
Winning is nice but rest of this year should be a slow build to next.
Improvement in defence apart of Nofo is a positive.
I can't see that we will miss Teddy and Woods as they are just not performing for us at present. They are putting in by not performing to level expected and to the level this side requires.
For all the criticism I am happy with the Brooks and LoLo … they will not be our combination next year so ?
Youngsters are performing Twal, Eisenhouth, Suli, Marsters, Liddle etc .... are all on the learning curve.
So not ecstatic but not unhappy.

Brooks was pathetic today. Nowhere near first grade standard. Moses made us look like a joke of a club, we let him go so he could help another team beat us. Absolutely terrible management decision.

As for JLJ and Naqama- these pathetic slugs shouldn't be playing first grade. Ivan please boot them or drop them to ISP.

Moses was pretty ordinary out there. He was worse when he was playing for us but he wasn't good for Parra today.

Chee-Cam played really well today. Best performance from him.

Yes much better effort. As long as there are improvements I'm not fussed.
JLJ concentration level is not 1st grade standard.
Grant I think may be worth a year or two extension.

Being engaged really motivated him . That will last long.

Considering the speed of the Parra attack today I think we did well to keep them to 3 tries. But the play from Lolohea at 16 all where he made the break up the middle and then tried an offload boggled my mind. If he takes the tackle and we get the ball back to Brooks, most likely we go ahead by 1 but instead, we turn over and let them charge up to our line.
This team don't know how to win and until they get those crucial plays right, we will continue to lose.

JLJ should have taken that ball, the guy is awful

He had injured his ankle just before this so, maybe his reflexes were out but it was awful. Don't really want to see him again.

True but great players make it look easy. Brooks needs to work with a soccer coach to learn to kick with his instep into the ingoal. It's all about controlling the ball and soccer is light years ahead of RL in this skill
