Liverpool Home Ground?

Gallagher and mike lets play everything at Leichhardt Oval then...

That would be better than the current set up. But keep in mind that clubs that use Bankwest will have room to accommodate 3000 corporates while LO has room for 300. Why do you want to handicap the club?

If you want to lose fans and Corporates, then by all means and as a club we’ll be dead within two years.

Just play every game at our spiritual home ground or fold as a club completely.
Any other ground will never feel like Home.

They folded two clubs WT'S do not have a spiritual homd ground heres the chance to get one.

We all know Leichhardt is the Tigers spiritual home ground, anyone who has been to a Campbelltown and Leichhardt home game has FELT it.

Build a new concrete jungle and it just won't be the same.
Long live Leichhardt

Sorry but it's a dump. ***It's horrible to get to, you have to get there at 11am to get a decent*** spot, very poor facilities. Rugby League is a business and Leichhardt doesn't fit the bill.
We should move to either ANZ ,newly built stadium at Liverpool or a re-developed Campbelltown. Rugby league needs a stronger foothold in the south-west. Especially with A-League and AFL making strong inroads.

Its easy to get to. Park at ORange Grove School or Light Rail nearby.

To get a decent spot, put your money where your mouth is and fork out for membership.

Its horrible to get to. There's no way Im buying a membership anytime soon. They will have to put some decent seasons before I'd even contemplate it. This is why I never go to Leichhardt.

You never go to Leichhardt, and yet you know how hard it is to get to?

I used to go during the early days of the joint venture and when Wests played Balmain. Unless the ground has grown legs up and moved I still believe its a horrible ground to get to and enjoy.

Lets move everything to campbletown i mean they train at campbletown, and COE is at campbletown.. oh wait...
As for the A league making inroads lets be serious if the ALeague moves to winter it wont comoete with rugby league ir AFL. AFL in sydney is devided with swans and GWS we have 9 teams with good crowds combined and excellent tv coverage for the game.
we should be an inner city club e.g. train at concord play at homebush with some boutique games at CSS and LO we dont need just one ground. If we make the semis we will have more crowds than we could hope for, we ine the comp in 2005 with a CSS LO and ANZ split, win games and it will solve everything.

Sadly I am not sure if the CoE at Concord is a completed lack of foresight by the club, or just that there was only one council that the club could find that would subsidise the construction. It would be interesting (like Souths) to get some demographic information on where the clubs members are based.

The poker machine money from Ashfield will only last so long, and the club needs to have a better business plan then relying on that.

As for the comparison with other sports, Sydney in general does not attract decent crowds to sporting events. The A-league crowds are comparable to most NRL games and the AFL crowds are generally much higher.

Does the club take a grant from the Leagues Club?

Some silver membership seats were in line with the ingoal... Worthless... Pretty much the entire ground bar the main stand is poor/obstructed viewing

Too bad. We don't want to increase our membership numbers. Get in early or get stuffed.

wests ashfield owns more than just poker machines they own golf courses and hotels, wests at campbletown like balmain dont contribute any money to tigers

In the economic climate facing all NRL clubs the Weststigers need to consolidate all there resources in one area. The day’s are gone of the hit and miss Financal situation that comes with playing at multi grounds over the Sydney basin and beyond .
Unless Wests Ashfield are going to bank roll the club moving forward the decisions that have been sweep under the carpet fo 20 yrs are going to have to be made in an urgent manner ,the club KNOWS
where the membership numbers come from . The Weststigers are an inner city club move permanently out West will set the club back a decade or more these things do not happen over night , the club needs to play to its demographic to survive the day has long gone for a major relocation , the financial situation and the inept decision making has seen to that .. One home ground from next season time to make a stand and grow !

going west could be a disaster you would kill of ryde and inner city homebush are and going west might not lead to a bigger fan base. Plenty of families out west follow sides they have always supported dogs saints etc its in some cases a family tradition. Moving west will not mean these families will support WT if that was the case Magpies would still be thriving, the club probably knows this but membership would confirm. It is like having to harvey norman stores they service 2 areas why close one people can travel to one or both. Play out of both grounds

Mate it’s a ground for the 20th century not the 21st century. The sooner this is acknowledged the sooner we can move forward rather than being stuck in the last century.

Doesn't the corporate support for the Club come primarily from the CBD/Inner West?
