They have that information..

Have you ever been told if theres an area where most of us live Geo?

No..but geographically it's spread far and wide in Sydney... even interstate...Our non-ticketed/Supporter and Out of Town numbers are quite high..

As a fanbase I have seen a report from the NRL ranking teams Wests Tigers are up there behind Parra but ahead of a lot of Sydney teams around the 400K mark..

The whole thing about home grounds is a furphy..The simple fact of the matter is not winning keeps crowds away...

If the team was consistently winning on the Field Crowd numbers would be huge no matter where they played..We lived it in 2005 where grounds were sold out ..we experienced again in 2010/11 where crowds around 30K attended when we played out of the WestsSFS..

If you win it they will come..

Winning brings crowds, no doubt. And there is no doubt we have a huge supporter base.
I'm just of the belief that playing at the one ground 12 times a years gives the players familiarity and a real home ground advantage. What's the advantage of three home grounds?

It allows us to cater for people right across Sydney, we also have 2 years to go on the ANZ/ BW deal so it also allows us guaranteed income while supporting our traditional regions.

I think they are waiting for the stadium situation to be less fluid to be able to make a decision that will be in place for a number of years. We also still have 2 years on the ANZ/ BW deal so I would look at the number of ground to reduce in line with the end of that deal.

I think they will reduce the number of games at LO/Cambo..moving more games to the Stadia BankWest/ANZ..

I don't see it as an issue as some do...All Clubs move home games these days...

Lets move everything to campbletown i mean they train at campbletown, and COE is at campbletown.. oh wait...
As for the A league making inroads lets be serious if the ALeague moves to winter it wont comoete with rugby league ir AFL. AFL in sydney is devided with swans and GWS we have 9 teams with good crowds combined and excellent tv coverage for the game.
we should be an inner city club e.g. train at concord play at homebush with some boutique games at CSS and LO we dont need just one ground. If we make the semis we will have more crowds than we could hope for, we ine the comp in 2005 with a CSS LO and ANZ split, win games and it will solve everything.

Sadly I am not sure if the CoE at Concord is a completed lack of foresight by the club, or just that there was only one council that the club could find that would subsidise the construction. It would be interesting (like Souths) to get some demographic information on where the clubs members are based.

The poker machine money from Ashfield will only last so long, and the club needs to have a better business plan then relying on that.

As for the comparison with other sports, Sydney in general does not attract decent crowds to sporting events. The A-league crowds are comparable to most NRL games and the AFL crowds are generally much higher.

I remember the club did release data several years ago. There was daylight between the Inner West and anywhere else in Sydney in terms of where our fans are based.

Build a new concrete jungle and it just won't be the same.

Sorry but it's a dump. ***It's horrible to get to, you have to get there at 11am to get a decent*** spot, very poor facilities. Rugby League is a business and Leichhardt doesn't fit the bill.
We should move to either ANZ ,newly built stadium at Liverpool or a re-developed Campbelltown. Rugby league needs a stronger foothold in the south-west. Especially with A-League and AFL making strong inroads.

Its easy to get to. Park at ORange Grove School or Light Rail nearby.

To get a decent spot, put your money where your mouth is and fork out for membership.

Some silver membership seats were in line with the ingoal... Worthless... Pretty much the entire ground bar the main stand is poor/obstructed viewing

I am a member, my seats are not in the Main stand and I am on the 40m line, about 2m off the ground, completely unobstructed. The best RL viewing seats in the world.

I am right next to the players enclosure 8 rows back, they are the best seats that you will find anywhere.

Wests campbletown do not directly put money into wests tigers they are requivelant of balmain, wests ashfield pay the bills and can elect to play at Parra or Homebush if they wish

They do put money in, they're a sponsor and fund the juniors. Balmain put nothing in.
I don't see any of that relevant to where we play.

WEsts Campbelltown put $0 dollars into the Wests Tigers. We have been through this in detail already. Lets not do it again.

Plus we lose less money/make a little bit at LO/CSS against out of towners which we lose money at the big stadia

Just play every game at our spiritual home ground or fold as a club completely.
Any other ground will never feel like Home.

They folded two clubs WT'S do not have a spiritual homd ground heres the chance to get one.

We all know Leichhardt is the Tigers spiritual home ground, anyone who has been to a Campbelltown and Leichhardt home game has FELT it.

Build a new concrete jungle and it just won't be the same.
Long live Leichhardt

Mate Im right next to you, lets say g;day when things are back to normal

We probably already know each other

Its possible but unlikely. I know one guy who sits near me but I think he is in the 1st row. We will catch up.

People do realise that there's very very little chance of any new stadium getting built nor any significant funding for existing suburban grounds, right?
