After todays report I am starting to believe the Lote is coming.

otherwise it would be a bit of a waste for our CEO to fly business class to the UK 😕

 How about a temporary hold @ 2009…...

Work for ya.......

If Tuiaki is going to be out for most of the year and Tupou plays in the forwards then we will need Tuqiri.

Um …er..one cld argue its a total waste for our CEO to fly business class to the UK regardless..!
Its gonna cost close to $20k to get his signature on a piece of paper, which will or wont happen regardless of the CEOs physical presence..money that cld be spent on promising juniors
Hmmmm

With fans like this no wonder the club struggles to attract star players :unamused:

We should get rid of the running machine at Concord and just do road runs like teams used to. That will save us $40k :unamused:

Vision???

Mate, with all due respect …. give yourself a uppercut. He is the CEO of a professional sporting team which turns over $10-12mil, not a 2-bit park footy team.

Well exactly - it's a tax write-off anyway…

well according to qantas.com, it's more like 11k for the ticket. Now lets say that accom and all that costs 4k, then it's a 15k investment.

now, if lote signs, he is guaranteed to put bums on seats. Let's be conservative and say that 5000 extra people come to see him across the entire season. At $20 per ticket, that's $100,000

Then there is the extra sponsorship and the exposure of the club/sponsors due to lote being in the team. God knows how much that is worth!

$100,000
+ $????????
=
$100,000 + (very conservatively)

so if it costs the club to $15k to send Hump to the UK to secure lote, we're still $85,000 in the clear.

money that could be spent on promising juniors

yep, that's $85k+ that could be spent on promising juniors!
