Not to mention sponsorship if the photo includes lote in a tigers jumper.. He could have flown first class for all I care. As long as it doesn't come under the cap or send the club broke, go for it!

Doing business has it's prices. If finess or publicity is required than do it in person.

Son of "Big Kev" worked for both qantas and British Airways in senior postions, he is probably flying on a freebie!!!!

He'd probably have a gazillion frequent flyer points too!

When I am CEO of the Tigers I will fly to the UK, As currently I am NOT,

They should have used the humble fax machine.

Who cares if he went in a private Jet,people have way to much free time. All I know if he flew Qantas he would have been well looked after, theirs a couple of senior executives who are mad Tigers supporters and they would have made sure he had a big seat and as I said before he spent a lot of years in the industry so he would have good contacts.

Anyway lets hope he gets the job done and we can put this post to bed.

PS If he flew on the new A380 he may never get their it breaks down so often but the sky beds are brillant

My point was that if CEO really needs to fly internationally of course he should be entitled to business class seating & a decent pub/restuarants befitting of his status etc…& I can assure you the old dart doesnt leave much change from $20 big ones for such a trip..
But in todays age of modern telecommunications & supposed post GFC austerity Im not sure this investment in time & money is justified unless Humphreys/ physical presence on the other side of the world is critical to push Lote over the line.
It feels more like an expensive foto opportunity for the press..but having said that,Humphreys has impressedso far so maybe a little boondog junket is deserved every now & again..!

**Seriously… this is what it has come to?**

Who cares? The bloke is our CEO and has to represent the club accordingly.

Expensive photo opp? So what... it will give the club great exposure and as a result... our membership will spike.

HaHa…Looks Like it......

How much is a photo of Lote worth to the Club......$500K,,,,?

Will it be in saturday or sundays paper? Im betting sunday.

Just think about it waking up on sunday morning and on the back page of the paper 'Tiger Tiquiri' wearing the Wess Tigers jersey!

nice one Kul,

but seriously, could this be the last day of the lote thread? ah the memories….

What do you mean last?

He still hasn't played a game yet…

This is just the Pre-quell...

If lote doesnt cost us getting other recruits in the next 2 years then all well and good. if it ties up money then its a waste. I doubt he will add a lot. Its a risk but if we can afford it who cares. If we can affort Mason id take him too.

Why on earth would you want Mason at the club?

whilst the impending signing of Lote is good.
having him in the team does not guarantee a finals berth in season 2010
consistent team performance is what will ensure a top 8 finish.

I would expect that Humphreys would fly business class but I do not know what hotel in Leicester would be anything near 2k let alone 4k. The closest large city is Birmingham and it is nothing special.

Anyway, if it does cost 15k, if Lote comes and plays then it is worth it. Remember how many went to watch big Dell play his first game for Shellharbour.

Please continue with this absolutely inane and pointless speculation on how Humphrey's is flying, where he's staying, what he's eating etc.
I guessed 2400 odd in the Lote Lottery thread so need some more filler in this thread.

Yeah it's pretty pointless talking about whether it was first or business class….

I understand he took a private charter jet!
