It's likely Lote was told to think about the Tigers' offer this week then get back to them later.
I wouldn't be expecting anything for at least a few more days

Do you really think Lote will give anything up on twitter if he has signed or indeed will sign soon it would be a major coup for the club and be a big media day for the club not his twitter account

I'm with you Doc…..

Who needs Tuiqiri when you have Beau Ryan!!! Haha

If keeping Beau means we get Cayless and Lima and miss Tuqiri, then I am all for it.

I think it would be bad management if we were to sign him. We've already signed enough outside backs, and Tuqiri will be 31 next year. Save the money for a top front rower.

Totally agree we need a go forward prop not another back

Problem is that the outside backs we bought wouldnt make any other first grade team in the NRL!!! If the Tigers could have their time over they wouldnt sign them. They are back ups at best. We need first grade outside backs!!! But i dont think Lote will prove a great buy. Hes too slow.

Pfffffft…..Lote too slow,what a joke.

Bloke is a top shelf player and would be awesome banging it up off Bunji.

Lote is taller, heavier and slower than any NRL top shelf fullback. If Lote plays fullback, which i bet is what we promise him, he will get run around and be late to the right position constantly.

Lets wait and see, Im not so sure about that. Particularly, if the club, as they will, concentrates on slimming him down and increasing his speed. People forget that size is a very big asset in rugby hence players tend to bulk up over there. Rogers also had to trim down when he returned to league.

what and how are u basing this off?
you are all talking about him being slower… im yet to see it.. the last game i watched him play for Aus and NSW he looked pretty sharp to me.. i think half of the people are basing it off Hearsay then actual fact.

Ummm lets get him here first…....worry about his form later....

FTR.....Ive warmed to the idea....Lote would be devastating.....one way or the other.....Cmon Lote make up your mind

Lote was always a better and more complete footballer than Dell IMHO. Is also coming back to the game at a much younger age and in better condition.

Mate watch some footage of Alan McMahon, he would have been I think one the last of the bigger fullbacks who played for the Tigers and he was great. If Lote at fullback is like him then I will be a happy camper.

Do we really need Lote though? I mean if we sign him and miss out on Lima, i think that will be a massive blow. We have one of the best backlines in the game, with the youngsters coming through as well… What about Mullaney, yeah he can still play Toyota cup, but then what happens in 2011? I wouldnt mind losing out on him if it meant we sign Lima TBH

I just wish he would hurry up and make a decision one way or the other, if it is his decision that is holding up the Lima deal, we may miss out on both with the mucking around.

Agreed, and for those saying he is slow, well he is sure faster than Hodgo who was a champ for us.

I agree - I won't be unhappy if we sign him because size and experience at the back would be an asset.
But not at the expense of another quality front rower to go with the Cayless signing.
