Luis V Miller

Having watched both games tonight i am beginning to wonder how long it might be before Miller gets the 7 jersey. He was outstanding in the 20's and yes there is a big difference in standards between 20's and nrl however - i was more impressed about how miller read the game than how he played - he was 2 or 3 plays ahead of every other player on the field - he drove his forwards, his kicking game was outstanding - very impressive performance - i hope we sign this kid to a long term contract soon.

He is an impressive talent. I think we should let him develop a bit more though before rushing him into first grade.

2weeks ago every one was saying lui is a star and now 2 weeks in a row we ve been bad so i feel lui is a scape goat when in reality it should be benji

Just supporters venting their frustration at this moment Lui is the halfback no doubt Miller is a talent

Sirro it is but it isnt. It is the little things that impress about Miller - such aa how he gers his forwards moving forward as diedpretty said. Also that pass to korobiote was a cracker although called forward. Lui wasnt throwing them at the aame age and still isnt.

Miller played against a pathetic under 20'side, its an unfair comparison

Doesn't matter how bad the opposition is when it comes to vision - this kids got it in spades.

Actually Miller can tackle and defend in the line we have seen it in the top grade ..for me it,s chalk and cheese and I have been watching this game for over 50yrs it's been a long long time since I have seen a kid with so many tricks a very long time …. Lui is just the fill in to Miller is NRL ready IMO.

I think Lui's pass to Ayshord was similar, and i think his passes to Ellis last year were just as visionary.

Now Miller may turn out to be better, who knows, but he isnt better than Lui now.

Im gonna go out on a huge limb here, and say in 2 years time, the best combo we may see is:
7.Lui
6.Marshall
9.Miller

Thats a huge call sirro - my bet is on \\

6\. Marshall
7\. Miller
9\. Farah
13\. Lui - with a bit of improvemenyt in his defense

After watching both games. He is better now. At least he was tonight. I would even say the nyc opposition was on par with the amount of dropped ball in 1st grade.

Theres no way that Miller will be coming into the starting side unless injuries occur, in my opinion Curtis Sironen is the real talent and Id love to see him partnering Benji in a couple of years down the track.

I'm not sure if Lui is the best option or not. He has been exceptionally good at times but geez he was ordinary tonight. I suppose a poor game or two doesn't matter if he turns it around.

Miller in my opinion is still far too young and green to be considered our future half.

You'd like to see a running player with a few tricks partner a running player with a few tricks? Which is the halfback cuz Sironen sure as hell ain't and Benji needs one. Miller is better than Sironen btw. Just. I reckon that Miller is ready for the 7 now but Lui hasn't/won't lose his jersey.

I've said it before, I'd like Benji to go to fullback and for a completely new halves combination to pop up at some stage.

I don't see how Benji would be any less effective at fullback. He'd probably be more effective. I'll get laughed at though no doubt, but it'd keep him out of the front line and let him choose his moments even more effectively. He'd be an absolute revelation at fullback and tbh we have far more exciting halves prospects being held out than fullback prospects. I'd go so far as doing it just to keep some youngsters. At least try it for a game. I reckon Marshall at fullback for one game with a new halves combo would be an absolute revelation.

Miller is miles better than siro bbt. Siro plays like a 6 and runs the ball more often. Could be a forward yet with his size.

Miller will be a rep 7 no doubt. I just hope it's for us.

Agreed. Lui was far from the disgrace some are making him out to be after tonight's game while Millder had an easy time of things against a struggling Panthers NYC team.
