Luke Brooks - Mega Thread

T

The stats don't say otherwise. Luke Brooks the last few seasons has missed more tackles than any other Tigers player by miles and is constantly in the top 5 or so in the comp for Missed tackles.
Teams target halves because they are a small body in the line .I.e it hurts less and you get a quicker PTB. Ben hunt and Munster are also high ranking in this stat. The way to fix it is to sign back rowers who can protect your best playmakers. We just let one go and our others are nuffies.

Your capacity to debase is shocking. Your excuse is you weren't aware. The correct answer is you do not use that word to insult anyone. If you ever have the misfortune of a terminal cancer diagnosis for a family member or friend, then perhaps it may finally sink in for you. I would not want that for you or your family. You may finally comprehend that two young men will never have their mother at their weddings or she will never have the opportunity to hold her grandchildren. Both sons have read your posts and believe me, they feel very sorry for you.

Imagine this.

Papa Paws sitting around the warm glow of a PC monitor. He see's something on the internet that upsets him and then calls his two boys in to read it...ahahahahahahaha.

Just when you think some people could not get more cringe. Even @GNR4LIFE thinks this is sad and he still wets the bed.

For the 2022 season, The WT have scored more tries on the left edge 48% (middle 19%) and (right edge 33%)
,
And the WT have conceded more (43%) on the left edge, (middle 29%) and the right edge 29%.

although they are interesting to look at, i honestly don't trust them very much as a guide, because when you compare players and teams sometimes the stats show little differences between them which contradicts how we see and feel about.the teams strengths and weaknesses.

The following link has the details and should help to answer your questions.
Thanks for that Finest. I didn't expect to find anything more definitive on the actual defensive line for each try, though certain if available, the correlation would be shown as being responsible for that higher left edge number

The larger disparity of basically half of WT being scored on our left was pretty well as expected, with us almost always looking much more dangerous down the left side.

I'm convinced Laurie needs to be tried in the halves. Not saying it will work, but it has to be tried. Could he do a Jarhome Hughes? I can't get out of my head the reports when he was at Penrith. Apparently he would carve the NRL team up in opposed sessions and those at Penrith believe the halves is his best spot. Ive got a feeling putting him in a genuine ballplaying role will bring out the Koori footy in him. His short kicking game is already lengths ahead of all our halves, he rarely stuffs up a repeat set grubber.

In the balance of probabilities do you think switching Laurie to 7 would win us games?
