AD will take a year to get back to a semblance of normality. I am not convinced after two serious knee injuries it will be in the backs.

There should be zero expectations on him this season. Get to the off season unscathed and re-assess.

He'll be in good company then. Brooks has had zero expectations the last 5 years from the club.

Analysis: Adam Doueihi’s long-term injury has given star recruit Jackson Hastings the chance to form a combination with much maligned halfback Luke Brooks at the Tigers scrumbase. The Tigers have made some shrewd moves in the player market and will field a more competitive squad in 2022, which could provide the perfect opportunity for Brooks and Hastings to shine. Hastings is not the same player that left for the Super League after he took out the Man of Steel award in 2019 and he has unfinished business in the NRL.
