Luke Brooks - Mega Thread

Liddle and Brooks are two very good players.

The Kent revelations which got the posse so excited have been dismissed as rubbish so the venom and vitriol ramps up again.
 
Let’s not split hairs. You said not nearly as long, implying that they debuted many years before Pascoe debuted.

On no level are we ever going to go toe to toe with the Roosters. Nothing we've ever done - Or could ever do will change that....

It's chalk and cheese - It really is...
We're not surrender monkeys, We're just realistic about who, what and where we are...
It's like the bloke on apprenticeship wages looking at real estate in Potts Point...

An even salary cap doesn't make an even competition...
And it never has - Even back before Luke Brooks, Michael Maguire, Justin Pascoe and Wests Tigers.
 
He's been around since forever - And not done a lot outside Jersey sponsorship...
Can't see that changing anytime soon.

The dribble surrounding his salary astounds me.

I don't think Brooks and probably Liddle are good enough for us to compete especially Brooks. I think Brooks could be a good role player in certain teams but we keep talking him up and using him as our main player. I think Hastings looks better now and Madden is basically on a par with Brooks.

He is obviously involved. He may give more than what we think. The problem is that we haven't attracted enough talent like the Rorters via outside of the cap payments.
