That's interesting.. just looking back on some of the forum's 3 2 1 from last year there where times you yourself had Brooks in the points over Doueihi so every time seems absolute..

I just can't wait till AD is back and shows you all what a player he is.

With Jacko and AD on the field, calling the shots- Brooks will fall so far back into shell and just struggle to do a thing because their voices are so loud and their talent is so undeniable... he will implode like he has many times before.

Saw more in those 14 games than Brooks has for seasons. Before this year Brooks had 1 and a half good seasons, the rest were rubbish.

Won't have that problem matched up with Sir Jacko.

AD is a good player,but why dont we let the Hastings/Brooks pairing pan out for a few more games before we break it up...Madge will know where to put AD if he doesnt split Brooks/Hastings...
Madge bought AD over to the club and sees the potential in the guy,but he also has backed Brooks everytime he gets bagged,as I said Madge knows better than we do..

Agree. I’d have Starford at 4 over the other centre options.

He's good value making fleeting appearances between injuries to inspire his team mates. Love your work Demps.

At the moment Starford To'a continues to impress.
He is becoming a broken field attacking weapon. He needs to keep improving his D though.
I hope we secure a lot of these talented players well into the future so we can build.

Brooks would do well at lock, letting others take the lead, playing a sweeping link role, which is really what he does now.

I don't think he is a lock and I don't think moving Joe O who has been one of our best players is the right decision. I also don't think putting AD there would work. Brooks to fullback. Fullback and 6 are similar in attack. AD has to learn to tackle and how to play 6. It allows us to have our best players in the spine.

No crystal ball needed. You go on performance and every time AD plays he out performs Brooks. History tells us this.

You have to let him come back from injury and find his spot but you are right.

I basically agree. It also depends on salary and if we can fit them all in. So the question is where do you fit them all in ?

And that will be to the benefit of the team.

What I’m wondering is that if Brooks is holding form and not injured, and if Tigers are competing like they are at the moment, will Madge replace him with AD coming off long term injury? History tells us that’s not how Madge or most coaches work.

AD will need to work himself into that position so I think he’ll be 14 or centre until the opportunity presents itself.

Completely agree. Brooks is one of first picked and has been for years because we have had a team made up of “top 8” 2nd graders.

Brooks is arguably still better value because he has stayed on the park (touch wood)
