Mate you don’t want me as coach. Only about 8 guys from the current top 30 would be playing next year.Coach Stryker🙄
The rest would be licking the concrete clean out at the shitworks…

That post shows how little you know about rugby league mate..Paws&claws. Just did some mathematics on brooks and hastings for anyone on this site to see, people are defending brooksy and rubbishing hastings this season brooks has played 16 games, he has run a total of 1128 mtrs and missed 71 tackles. hastings on the other hand has run a total of 1872 mtrs & missed 25 tackles but only played 14 games, 2 less than brooks, and it made no difference what position he played hastings stats far outstrip brooksy even at lock his run mtrs good and only missed 1 tackle.
It's called effort mate. How do the stats in any shape or fashion show he is a good defensive halfback?
When can we expect him to start showing this ‘effort’? Pissweak effort week in week out at the moment. It's called effort mate.
For the 2022 season, The WT have scored more tries on the left edge 48% (middle 19%) and (right edge 33%)I would like to know whether have WT scored more tries down our right edge, or that we have conceded more down our left edge when Brooks is at marker and/or not able to get back there after chasing down a break? The latter would not be kept in normal statistics, but it must be close if one went back through video of the season.
Whilst at it, as I have heard such in the pre-game commentary, can anyone more in the know provide such information on the breakdown, as to through which corridors (our left, middle and right) WT has been scoring our tries this season please?
Interested, where did you get the stats from?LOL you're funny..... as if I need to listen to someone saying stuff. And as for Facts on Zero Tackle lol you're an amateur looking at stats.
What you provide didn't highlight Brooks being a good defensive half at all.
Brooks career average missed tackle ratio is sitting at 18.76% (3800 attempts, missed 713), if he plays 4 more seasons (avg 70 a season) he is on track for being the 1st halfback to miss 1000 tackles on his current run rate in the history of the game.
2022 ratio of missed tackles is at 15% (454 attempts, 70 missed)
2021 ratio was 14% (532 attempts, 76 missed)
You mentioned Cleary, his ratio is 12% from 2693 attempts, missed 329 for his career in 50 less games. Based on tackle aggregates when Cleary plays the same amount of games Brooks has played he would of only made 200 less tackle attempts than Brooks and missed 449 tackles (264 less)
I'm yet to see you provide any evidence in your stats that indicates he is a good defensive halfback
I think Brooks is one of the few in this side who consistently displays effort in defense. It is his role of managing the teams attack that is missing. Can he get better at that, I guess that's up to Tim Sheens. You do realize though that defense is a team thing and what the defenders do inside and on your outside of you affects your ability to make your defensive decision and if it is successful or not. This is not part of any stats to my knowledge. When can we expect him to start showing this ‘effort’? Pissweak effort week in week out at the moment.
Nobody on here talking about his brilliant toe through, bootlace pick up and Hail Mary pass back to Tupou for a miraculous disallowed try.Cant agree more Chaos. Were the rest of these guys watching the same game yesterday? I thought the Hastings at 13 (practically played at 7) worked well because it allowed us to have 2 running 5/8s. Although we didnt win yesterday , I think it is worth persisting with. As regards Brooks, its very easy to focus on the negative & not the positive. For example,he put a pretty well placed bomb & both Tupuo & Kepoa just let Stains catch it unopposed. Had they of contested & scored suddenly we would be talking about Brooks return to form. He cant do it alone. If he does leave the club & is surrounded by those effort players, he will kill it. And then we will have the same negative people move on to bag the next playmaker we have . Also any one who says that was a reserve grade side yesterday is kidding themselves. While clearly not their best side, there is that much talent in Penrith & they have been well coached by Ciraldo (not Cleary) , that side would make the 8 in this comp.
That is the blueprint for the Tigs & we have the junior base to do it.
That was a special play.Nobody on here talking about his brilliant toe through, bootlace pick up and Hail Mary pass back to Tupou for a miraculous disallowed try.
Hard to soar like an eagle when you’re surrounded by Turkeys.
Winger behind the kick is learned in U12s.
If you look at those stats and you dont see a difference, then i cant help the fact that you are a person of little knowledge of the game yourself, do you know why they keep stats, you had better contact the nrl & tell them all those statistics they keep, dont mean a thing. I always thought it was to be able to check players performances. That post shows how little you know about rugby league mate..
Talk about selective statistics. How about these stats then?We had more possession.
We had a better completion rate.
We kicked for more meters.
They had twice as many errors
They conceded more penalties.
They had more ineffective tackles.
They had more ruck infringements.
We had 8 players post more than 100m with two others in the high 90’s.
Cleary couldn’t wipe the smile off his face that he rested so many, the team played so poorly and yet they won.
Effort? 🤣It's called effort mate.
With respect Dennis rugby league clubs have their own statistician they don't use the NRL stats these stats are for us punters. Anyway mate there is more to analyzing tackle stats than just counting takles made and takles missed. Such things as one on one, putting the player on the ground, winning the contact, number in the takle and most importantly what you do off the ball in defense. Well put. Also the best sides in the Comp hope their playmakers make the least tackles because they usually ask their backrowers to protect their most valuable assets. Back row is our single weakest position and it has been for many years. With respect Dennis rugby league clubs have their own statistician they don't use the NRL stats these stats are for us punters. Cant help you, your obviously a brooks man. Good luck with that. With respect Dennis rugby league clubs have their own statistician they don't use the NRL stats these stats are for us punters. The stats don't say otherwise. Luke Brooks the last few seasons has missed more tackles than any other Tigers player by miles and is constantly in the top 5 or so in the comp for Missed tackles. The stats say otherwise.. however everyone is entitled to an opinion.
