Congratulations Luke! Good footballer, outstanding young man! Once questioned my young bloke why he wasn't at school when we showed up at training told him school was important and once my son explained why he had the day off continued to kick the footy too him after the training session. That was a while ago but showed back then he is very grounded.

but but but ..he back flipped and has gone to Melbourne I read on-line…

Well done All around…. Brooks will shine without Moses.... need Widdop or Kodi Nikorima as his #6

Please, not Nikorima.
He is a good player but we have seen what happens when we sign players with "potential"
Sign Widdop ASAP

Lets hope so but it remains to be seen.
A pack dominating the ruck would help him a bit

Moses should be official in the next day or two

Officially gone or officially staying for 2017

I was talking about the COP. The news on both of them broke pretty much simultaneously.

I stated that I believed Brooks had committed prior to the Dragons game and it now seems it was the Friday prior as with Easter, the 10 days ended close of business today.

I expect Moses announcement on Thursday evening at the earliest.

Well done Brookesy and thank you for loyalty . Im sure with the help of Ivan and minus Moses you will go onto be a more consistent footballer and achieve your true potential.
Im so happy you jumped on the bus , enjoy the ride Luke.

I see Brooks in the same position now as Scotty Prince when he was at the Cowboys. He does some amazing things but hasnt yet learn to fully manage a game. Like Prince the game management will come with experience and maturity. I also feel that Cleary is the right coach for him to get to that next level.

Im not worried about his defensive frailties. They are mainly caused by the problems in our structure and thatot is easy to isolate players. They are also caused by the fact we have small halves on both sides of the ruck. We fix both of those and Im confident that Brooks' defensive problems will largely evaporate.

I consider him to be a better technical defender than Marshall.

There had to have been an offer for Moses from Parra in the pipeline surely, if he did actually sign almost instantly when told his offer was being revised. Couldn't have wanted to stay at the Tigers too badly. Seems like he was looking for an excuse for something that was going to happen regardless.

After watching his old highlights, I hope Ivan can get him back playing this way. He appeared to attack the fringe more when he first came to first grade. I'm sure other teams became alert to it but when was last time you saw Brooks do a kick back inside to Teddy?
He really went in to his shell the last couple of years but I believe he can be coached.
