Had a major hand in 3.
Is it ? 1 was 29 when signed years off origin , the other has played 1 origin game and is 32 , with a history of hamstring issues , which If you know anything about hamstring / lower back injuries , don’t get better as you age, they progressively get worse .
But whatever , give us another hot tip , that’s 100% fabricated , and another asinine attack at one of our players . I’d like to say , I really enjoy your posts , but that would be a lie .
So tell us how many games in the last 3 years has Adam Reynolds dodgy hamstring kept him out of playing?
He’s 32 mate ! You want to spent a mil on a player with those issues ? Plus how many of those games did he finish on the sideline . He’s tough as nails , so he’d always get out there , and go down . You’ve got an agenda . Don’t pretend like you don’t .
I have an opinion, yes your right on our halfback. My agenda is to play finals football. My loyalty is to the team not to individual players. Let’s play with facts here and not keep bending them. Adam Reynold is currently 30 years of age ( not 32). Adam Reynolds has averaged 24 games a year for the last 3 years. What’s your agenda by continuing to post false information?
Nothing . He will be 32 if he plays for us next year . So it’s not bending anything . He turns 31 in the next few weeks . And having a pretty good understanding of the biomechanics of the hamstring and lower back injuries and how they connect . As I have had one . And spent some time with surgeons and specialists about how these things go, not to mention research I’ve done . And it’s clear it way worse as you get older. I think it’s too much of a risk . Plus I remember the guy named Reynolds we just released who was 32 , at the completion of his contract not the start . Take also into account he doesn’t really want to come here , he just wants to secure his position. So once again all enough for me to stick with what we have and see how it goes , as it’s been 3 games . I don’t want hear “we haven’t played finals for 8 years “ because really we only had a chance at making that the first year and maybe like 2 other seasons in there . The rest of the time the team was horrible and we’ve been backed for the spoon more times than I can remember . For me , we’ve missed the finals the last 2 years in this current regime . Anything that happened before isn’t applicable to anything other than your emotions .
We’ve had mismanaged players , bad coaches ,‘poor attitude , bad recruiting , disgusting facilities, no corporate support , even less media support , and one by one we are clearing it up . Now it’s the tough one of getting the guys on the field to win .
My position is clear , I want to win with tigers juniors , and kids who have bought in . For loyalty reasons , as I’m a loyal guy , but mainly for sustainability reasons , like being in that conversation for top 4 every year . And it doesn’t happen with signing mercenaries, who arnt someone like Cooper Cronk or James Maloney , and clearly can leave a legacy after they go .And both are light years ahead of Reynolds and proven winners of Multiple premierships.
To me Reynolds is a winner and someone who can lead a team around and achieve success. So let’s agree to disagree.
The dream of tiger juniors running around winning us comps is dead. I’m very happy with our recruitment drive in targeting all the best juniors and bring them over. The likes of Laurie, stefano and Simpkin is what we will get us into finals and they are all other teams juniors.
