I read stories of the club investigating whether Madge is the obstacle to signing players, in my opinion he is a huge part, if the club find this to be true, they will have no option but to look elsewhere for a coach.
Plus the NRL team have gotten worse every year he has been here, to the point now they are statistically the worst ever Wests Tiger team, the trend is downward too, not upward, these are damning stats which should make any coach nervous

I’m not trying to defend Brooks but honestly there wasn’t a player out there tonight who got into good attacking positions for either of our halves to hit.

We are so disjointed in attack it’s not funny, AD didn’t look anymore dangerous than Brooks so I don’t think anyone can lay the blame at Brooks feet tonight.

He doesn't have a top tiered kicking game, if you watch the game when Tigers were on top his attacking kicks never were right 'on point'. He doesn't seem to organise the team, he often seems lost. Yes he is zippy but doesn't rank high in line breaks either. He isn't terrible, he is average, and he is very experienced, not getting better. He has had a great career for someone of his skill set. Good on the guy.

Who is to say they Havnt tried? I know for facts Bellamy wanted him at one stage.
And I’m not saying brooks is ‘So good’ I’m saying what he does would pay off more if he was on teams such as the ones I listed.
The club has been a mess for years.. blaming brooks is just silly.
We judge the team from what WE see, I can only imagine how bad things are behind the scenes.
As a half back, that would surely make your games more difficult.
The best half backs generally have players surrounding them that have an X factor, are strong under the ball, and that alone can make an average half back look better.

Brooks' kicking game would not improve. His running game is average. What are you seeing? Really, what is it? He only plays well against bad teams and even then he's not consistent. This idea that'd his horrible playing style would work for a good team is baffling. Why do you think he was the only one who stayed out of the "big 4"?

Brooks' kicking game would not improve. His running game is average. What are you seeing? Really, what is it? He only plays well against bad teams and even then he's not consistent. I’m seeing a club who has made terrible decisions, for years, I’m seeing a club that some how let’s all our great talent go, I’m seeing a club that has terrible off field leadership/recruitment/management, I’m seeing a club that is now the punchline of the NRL.
Regarding brooks.. I’m seeing a player who struggles with the negatives I mentioned above.. a player who hasn’t had a decent solid stable spine/forward pack, I’m seeing a player who kicks to the edges and our edge players literally look at each other, I’m seeing a player trying to gain momentum with the ball and passes to a player who than stops and looks around not knowing what to do with the ball, I see a player who is always strong on defense, I see a player trying to add pressure but has very little support, I see a player who really blossom in a club who has more stability.
This is just my opinion and I know many would disagree, but, we all do agree that over the past decade the West’s Tigers have continued to make terrible decisions, on and off the field, a lot would say Keeping brooks as our 7 is one of them bad decisions, however I just know if brooks had a decent stable coach, a decent big pack and a strong edge that all the little 1% stuff brooks does would pay off massively.
