To answer your other question, I don't mind the thread - people are entitled to their opinion, however when you broadcast to an audience there is a level of expectation that you may well backup said opinion.

BTW Luke Burt was along with Owen Craigie the best junior players I saw, coincidentally both Newcastle players

there are so many players who are so easy to hate, but with Luke Burt I dont see why you dont like him :slight_smile:

Of all the underperforming Eels Burt is the one I respect the most. He did miss that goal, but, then again, he kicked one a few years ago to beat us very late in a game. I have tried to forget the details!

One thing: the Eels always seem to play well against us. I will be on the edge of my seat until the full time whistle.

Agreed. He annoys the hell out of me, but it's only because he always does something good against us. He's going very well for them at fullback and a good gaolkicker too.
