Luke Garner

That would not really be that hard ! Trust me there are an untapped source of willing types looking for a shot !
This is the problem the club has thrown the towel in !

I reckon Gamble got the better of him 2 weeks ago.

I know our defence is crap but him and Brooks seem to have a good combo in defence. The L outside back usually lets them down. He's worth more to us than Manly so I don't see why we shouldn't be able to match their offer.

Hopefully someone with 100 percent commitment nd a modicum of realised potential.

Don't get me wrong I think he could be good but just don't see him going to 100 percent with us every week.

i agree, i see potential but i dont see 100% effort from him
If only every clubman gave their all like Chris Lawrence did for our club

in our top 30? Blore, Tuilagi or Tuki Simpkins, although it looks like Madge prefers him as a middle forward. heading to market, Egan Butcher would do well here.

Any current contracted players that want a fresh start...

Hudson Young.
Maybe there's some Penrith players stuck behind their starters.

Spencer Leniu too good to be 18th man every week.

See what we can do and make some moves.

He can run a good line and can break a tackle, is a reasonably solid defender (missed a quite a few tackles in recent weeks though,) his real strength is in the opposition 20. One of those players you can rely on a bust through or run a good line and cross the stripe.

I don't know if he's a victim of the team around him or what but I feel he has hit his ceiling. He might be a bit more dangerous if we had a quality centre outside him putting the opposition in two minds.

The bottom line….who do we replace him with .. ??

I agree .. Lucy, Blore, Tuki, Tuilagi have a hold on the back row there .. but if we can get an aggressive, hard running back rower .. that will be very handy .. !!

I like Luke Garner. He has shown patches of brilliance in attack and defence. He has not been able to put it together consistently though. He is basically the Luke Brooks of the second row. I'm not sure we can wait 100 games for him to come good. If somebody better becomes available, we need to go with them.

“Going, going, Garner: Sea Eagles reportedly chasing Tigers' back rower.”

I don't have a problem with this. Can run a good line and can line someone up front on - not consistent enough though.

Too small, too slow, nothing special in D.
No loss, IMO.

He was going there last year and that didn't happen. I don't think he was 100% with us this year.

Join the party..
We got a few guys who play like they have one foot out the door.

Happy for all of them to leave.

Agree, he may run a good line but doesn’t have a step or change in direction. Could be reading it wrong, but makes mistakes and seems to think he’s Done nothing wrong?

I like him but I don't rate him.

Doesn't have much going for him in a position we need more from and expect a lot from...

If he goes to Manly, I'm not sure he even makes the 17 but that's their problem not ours.

If he leaves I won’t care where he plays. But I can hear the cries now if he kills it in the Manly NRL side.
