So your happy to put up with this every week
We've put up with it for 10 seasons. Sacking the coach has clearly not improved things.
I posted on the Forum the day Maguire had signed with WTs as a colleague still had close links to Souths and told me. What I didn't post was his reply when I asked him about what he would be like which I remember well - not the coach for WTs' style of football.
You have a good memory
He was correct.
What is the WT's style of football?
Not tackling? 5th tackle bombs with no pressure?
21 years and 3 times we finished in the top half of the comp. Need a new style.
I do remember we played a very attractive style. WTs may not have won every game but our players played like the Club, their teamates and supporters mattered. Fans of other clubs liked our attractive style.
How many times has that "style of football" worked in the last decade?
I'd much prefer it to what Maguire is producing.
Two sides of the same coin. Failure is OK, as long as it is entertaining?
You knew with Sheens and Cleary their teams would perform and were capable of defeating top teams on their day. Both coaches had/have the respect of their players and could motivate them. They were/are great player managers.
This team defeat in detail. Time to put it out of its misery.
