I had my doubts about him. His selections are poor, use of the bench worse and he has not been able to build any structure in attack or defence in his time here.

He is also so insecure that he won’t bring in assistants that may question him and offer alternate ideas.

I have no idea where we go from here.

We sign a new coach we spend two or three years waiting for them to sign the players they want and move on the players they don't. Then we wait another year to see if it works out.

This time next year we will have cleared a lot of excess baggage and that's more likely to reap rewards than paying out another coach and starting again.

I am going to join the 'has to go' camp.

It was all rhetoric...find our shoulder...zero tactical analysis.

Big swing for me...but I am now in the 'has to go' camp.

His 2012-2014 game plans, tactics and bench use...all speeches, little substance... are just not up to the modern game. Sad, but realistic.

Home truth,heres a couple...
1 Noffa extended and has a contract for the next 3 years,lets in 2 tries,does bugger all in support or defensive structure contribution as most good wingers do...jonny on the spot to score a couple and all of a sudden is a hero...no thanks his deficiencies over the years are there for all to see.
2 Lucci,played well last year and his bro did nothing..family ordeal and has gone backwards this year,to busy being loyal to his bro rather than the team..
3 Brooks same arguement as the previous 8 years,not a leader and hasnt the brainal capacity to learn from his mistakes...
4 young up and comers being trounced by seasoned NRL players,yet expectations are so high...J.Simpkins would be trounced in the NRL and isnt ready yet..
So lets sack Madge and hope the next bloke does better or the tar and feather will be kept warm for him...
Yes Im dissappointed that these guys had 22 points put on them as easy as it happened .but Madge isnt out there with them so they are fully responsible for the crap that was today .....end of story...

A good coach will work with what they have and workout a game plan to there strengths just like Holbrook did at titans

The "that is how the game rolled" quote has really lost me re Tamou was hooked / not used.

Tamou got 28 mins...19 tackles at 100%.

61 meters...good for 28 mins.

Your leader, captain, best defender...not used....he was brought here for these exact moments.

The "that was how the game rolled" quote is unacceptable.

Cows "rolled" 100 meters upfield way too easily when they had it. Tamou had to be back on.
