Needs to enroll in some education and think of his future.

Needs to enroll in Anger Management. I think that all his players would agree on that. His demeanour is the exact opposite to what a coach of any level should be.

Cleary was described as cool, calm and collected prior to the big game last night. With so many of our players being young, what approach would you prefer to be directed to our future talent?

Cleary really was a loss for us. I hate what he did to us, but I think he would have these young blokes performing a lot better. A lot of the reason is because of how you just described him.

Well those players who aren’t “playing for coach” can move on and we get more adults in the team. Wooshka!!! Problem solved! ?

True, if you don't want your $5-10k a week, then go play park footy for beer money.

There’s no single solution imo, but the club has made a statement by hiring a tough minded coach who will stay the course and continue to reinforce a healthier team behaviour. That’s what the hard training does, it makes players uncomfortable, Madge needs to do more to get players out of their comfort zone. This will help them build self confidence and extinguish any thoughts they may have that their poor form is someone else’s responsibility. The worst thing Madge can do is stop delivering the positive message.

The words hard, tough don't equate to smart. I believe this is what we are witnessing at WTs.

We have had coaches of varying previous success, different personalities and different attitudes

The most successful of all those coaches coached us for 10 seasons and made the finals three times.

It is equal parts a problem with the playing group.

so much of this falls with the playing group, getting rid of madge wouldn't solve the problem because the same players are there with their hand out looking for a free feed.
madge seems to be the only one with any passion, bar maybe 4 players.

He’s been looking that way for months …. He’s not up to the job, somebody has to face up to it… he’s not a bad person, a top bloke by all accounts but his coaching of this team is atrocious and it needs to be taken from him.. the results speak for themselves!

When you look at where we are on the ladder - we are equal with warriors and dragons and above cowboys, broncs and bulldogs.

We are missing that top class player.

Warriors - RTS & Walsh
ST George - Hunt & Lomax & JDB
Broncos - Coates
Bulldogs -?

We are doing very well not to be in the bulldogs position

Just get rid of him. Players are not playing for him. We have to do something and this seems to be the easiest thing to do.We can't do worse than what we have in the last 3 years.

He hasnt had this ROSTER for 3 years....be at least a little fair in your critique of the guy....

I will be a little fairer to Madge if he shows that he can attract good players. He has a large CAP to use but he doesn't attract players. Players from other teams talk amongst themselves. It is clear that players from other teams don't having a liking for Madge s a coach otherwise they would gladly sign to play under him. Maybe I am drawing a long bow but it seems likely the same applies to our players.

According to madge sheens Woking mostly in Junior space. Its really annoying their not on the same page.

If Madge is here he takes all control.
Only way for Sheens to coach is if Madge is gone.
Sheens hasn’t come home to coach.

Like any coach, he can attract players if there is an open cheque book (IMO other than Mitchell which is a case of wanting to play with the brotherhood).

Tigers have demonstrated this year they ain’t paying overs.

I don’t know if Madge is on board with that or not but I’m not going to hang the guy on his coaching of the current squad.
