Somebody should tell that to the 2 mongrels on the board that are excellent at backstabbing and protecting their own interests.Undoubtedly the leaks are coming from at least 1 of them and unfortunately they are seemingly "untouchable" themselves.
That particular cancer still needs to be removed from the club and i dont care who they are

I have no doubt the board is part of the problem, but how do you solve that aspect? Private ownership might be the way to go, but no one would seriously consider buying this club at the moment.

You'd only need interested in the license. Buying the actual club would be cheapish atm.

WT is member owned just like other successful clubs, Panthers, Raiders, Roosters and a few others. While it may present an issue in some cases, ownership is not the real big’n if the organisational structure is sound. Clubs generally don’t publicly display their OC, which is odd? The Broncos are more transparent due to regulatory circumstances, but the others not so. They operate more like a church, with a different kind of religion. The successful clubs seem to have a kind of military precision aura about them.

We're not really member owned. You can't become a member then vote on anything.

If the club wasn’t a “not for profit” then the ATO would call them to account..hahaha

Lol, true.
Maybe that cousins be next year's cliche.

Michael Chammas has an agenda against Madge I reckon. He's got two articles ready to roll immediately after the match: lead article on Sunday, analysis on Monday. Nothing about the individual player performances, only commentary on the coach.

I’ve heard him speak about Madge before he had high hopes for us at the start of the season. Some of it is based on facts and the other headlines.

Clearly been fed from the inside which is concerning. Means everyone isn't United and focused on round 8

I honestly wish i knew how to solve it but sacking the coach is a knee jerk reaction and will not work.Having unsackable white ants on the board is a certain recipe for continual failure.

the board don't tackle or kick or get involved in player recruitment
Players don't not come to this club because we have Board member x or y they come if they can work with the coach.
Matterson could not
Benji could not
Souths ran Maguire out the door with Burgess and Reynolds leading the charge
players talk and they don't want to play for Maguire, perspective players and some of our players

First foxtel are bad and news limited are bad
now it is SMH and Australian
The press are not out to get the club... we have issues and are incompetent don't shoot the messenger

This stat really needs to be in every Madge thread as it gives context of his last two years before us...

**In Maguire’s last 51 games in charge of a star-studded Rabbitohs side, his success rate was even worse (18 wins) than it is now at the Wests Tigers.**

I.e. he has been very bad for several seasons now.

Of coaches who have coached 100 games since 2015, he has, by far, the worst record.

we are not member owned we are season ticket holders
if you want change you need to sign up to wests ashfield and vote out the board
Roosters, raiders Penrith all have football clubs we dobt we have WA
it wasn't like when we were formed we had western suburbs football club members and balmain football club members

Yeah especially when you’re not proving to be a development coach. All depends if he’s current crop of juniors give him some results in first grade

Spot on, actually proves the game has changed and Madge hasn’t been able to or unwilling to change with it. The old he is a premiership winning coach means squat if his last 5 years are abysmal.
We could mount the same argument to sign Green or Chris Anderson, but times and the game are vastly different, we need to move with the times

I am 100% in the Madge Maguire camp.

There is no other coach available that could do better with this club that has been underperforming for almost every year except 3 odd.

Madge looks as physically crook as every one of us fans feel during games. I’ve never seen that look on the faces of our administration or playing group.

Bennett or Flanagan would be handy.

At least Flanagan can PEP the players up.
