We need to remember that you can't sign a team of superstars. You need to be searching for improving talent. He has performed extremely well on the UK which may or may not translate to the nrl. However these kind of signings give us a chance to get an upcoming superstar without the financial burden.

Another ISP Cup player to add to those who played NRL for us last weekend. We need to spend to get quality and fast outside backs.

Watch his Highlights and see if he is ISP quality.

I did and remain unimpressed.

The you must be the guy you in only be a tad impressed my Folau.

He's no Folau and we've seen the tall, powerful backs with good speed succeed. Look at
Folau, Inglis, Boyd, Suli, Cotric, Rapana, Chambers, Mitchell, Ferguson, Bird, SKD, Toupou, the Morris twins. All have similar body types.

Well he played for the storm. Any player bellamy picks in his side is Nrl material in my view.

Those highlights were in ESL

Even Rankin became somewhat of a cult hero over there

He's not there anymore and look at Cheyse Blair and Will Chambers.

Fonua was a solid player when he left the Storm 2 years ago. He is young and would have improved. Recent ESL players Hodgson, Whitehead have played well and were unheralded. I think it's a smart gamble Cleary has a good track record making players better.

Your kidding right?

:roll

His highlights are from ESL. You can't base a player's ability from a highlight reel, let alone a highlight video from England of all places. Naiqama would look like a great player on his highlights reel, but we have all come to understand that he is average.

You have a very unrealistic view of a footballer if you think they are not first graders if they are not rep players commanding at least 600k. Its impossible to field a team with every player in that bracket. Clearly you didn't see Fonua play at the Storm if you are relying on his ESL form.

Good player who would not cost the world who can play wing or centre, both positions which we are lacking depth.

I don't see any negatives here.

Anyone know his actual height? On the Hull website he's 1.85m, but I've seen other places say he's 1.77-1.79m.

I'm with you Paws. We need someone like Ferguson on the wing.

1\. Dylan Edwards
2\. David Nofoaluama
3\. Moses Suli
4\. Taane Milne
5\. Blake Ferguson

Weapon backline, you have creativity, class, speed, strength and size.

Take out Fergo, you instantly lose that description.
