The point is DCE had already signed a contract - Watmough wasn't trying to talk him into anything other than turn up to training you little so and so. Once again a players manager holds a club to ransom.

How ridiculous is the crap coming from Manly these days. The other day they put the name of a player outside of the top 30 in the team lists without authorisation and was found not authorised on the basis Lewis brown and Jackson Hastings can play hooker. Now Lewis is injured and Hastings has been pushed out they can try and get there way again. They have the nerve to speak about probably being unable to provided a top 30 before end of June but cause of injuries. If they don't get 30 players on there books they should be fined and have loss of points. They are just trying to squirm out of it bye not paying for extra players and only choosing this re type of players regardless of the rules. Not sure what is going on over there but they are on a totally different level of incompetence…
