Manly Warringah Sea Dogs !

I must say Darcey Lusic ( however you spell it) fits in perfectly with manly, there forward pack is full of scums..

Does this mean we will cover some of mr 500k suspension next year?

How long are you expecting him to get Golden???

Any more than 2 weeks will be a disgrace.

I agree but Gallop hates the storm and Manly and they could get about 4 to 6 weeks to set an example who knows

Or he could go soft on them to stop people thinking he hates them!??!

Shane Hayne didn't know what to do. Shows he is not up to being one of the senior refs i the game. He gets overwhelmed by big occassions and swayed by home crowds. 8-2 penalty count and all the 50/50 calls to Manly…are you kidding me.

How he didn't deem fit to sin-bin at least 1 manly player for 3rd man in defies belief. What did Blair do besides defend himself? Stewart threw first punch and then Blair was assaulted by 5 other Manly players.

Larry they don't call him Hometown Hayne for a reason

its been confirmed Brett Stewart did his medial as a result of running into the fight. Hope it was worth it you gutless coward.

Ha ha ha, serves himself right, this is just too funny, Stewart you are knob!!!!!!!

Personally I think it is good to see team mates having each other's backs.
How would you feel if Benji was getting smacked up and no one ran in to help him out?
Don't care about dog mentality, I see it like if my friend is getting bashed I'm going to jump in and help him out no matter how "unfair" that is in other people's eyes as long as my friend is ok.

your ability to look for the negatives in every situation never ceases to amaze me Golden
even if he did get 6 weeks ( which just won't happen) it would not affect him come round 1 next yr as he could serve his suspension during the trials

I agree with that to a point…HoweverStewart wasnt getting his butt kicked when the hordes arrived. If Blair had of knocked him out and was still wailing on him then fair enough green light for stacks on and maximum damage.

Blair had just started to get on top but that fight was far from finished they should have stayed out of it or at most broke it up. Joining in was never an option and that is why they will be hammered far more than Blair and G. Stewart should be.

Glenn Stewart and Blair will have the book thrown at them IMO. Ugly scene for the game and both will be charged with bringing the game into disrepute. Brett Stewart should also be looking at a big suspension as Sisa Waqa for joining in from the bench. The referee should also be held accountable as anyone could see tensions were still very high and he should not have sent Blair to the bin until Stewart had left the arena. However u look at it it could have serious repercussions for teams 3 through to 6 come finals time.

couldn't disagree more on Glenn Stewart and Blair. What happens on the field, stays on the field as far as they are concerned IMO. The guyz who deserve the book thrown at them are the cowards from Manly who charged 40 m to get involved in a fair 1 on 1 fight. As far Sisa Waqa is concerned, I don't think he did anything bar pull players off each other. Besides, the Storm bench players were standing in front of a team mate being out numbered 5 on 1\. Were they just suppose to sit and watch?

Yep! Totally agree about those 4 Manly cowards. They shouldn't play again this season.
G.Stewart and Blair should still cop a few weeks for going on with it after being binned.

Can't beleive people think it is okay for players and officials to get involved from the bench, regardless if they were pulling people off or throwing punches you can't do that. Sorry but this to me is worse then the Manly players running over. If the Storm were the closer team they would have been the first ones there.

Will be good news for the sides finishing 7th and 8th come finals time, this could bite us in the backside if we finish 4th or 5th come finals time and we lose.

or if we win we could go straight to week 3

Well everyone is saying they are gonna miss the rest of the season. Trials count as a suspension are you kidding me?? so your telling me if we make the grand final lets just get one of our players to take out Slater because he will only miss trial games?

yes they do count. Just ask Liam Fulton who was put on report at the start of the yr in a trial and was suspended for a week, and served the suspension the very next week in the next trial

I am just waiting for the complaints to start in the press from manly as they will claim any punishment is because there is an agenda against them. TK predicted their actions on the Sunday roast.

No excuses this time. The Australian sporting public saw the actions of this club. This cheap shots in the media regarding the Brett Stewart incident is about to be paid back when it hurts the most.

if i was Gallop my mouth would be watering at the prospect of rubbing out Brett Stewart for a long time

thats actually a very good idea as long as the player that takes slater out isnt sent-off or sin-binned. melbourne tryed to do the same thing in the past to brett stewart when inglis used to put up those high bombs and then smashed him when he catched the ball

A story about Watmong in the paper today confirms that Manly are a just bunch of thugs and deadbeats. I'd be confident in saying that manly don't have a no d*ckhead policy given the fine upstanding human beings such as Watmong, Matai, Stewart Inc, within their ranks

Hasler is a disgrace and needs to take some responsibility for the actions of his players. He won't have to as the the media stooge known as Zorba will have his back

Geez I hate Manly

Told ya Balir was gonna get up to 7 weeks, that means 4 of those games will be for the Storm, and we will carry the remainer for the last 3 for the first 3 weeks of next year
