Manly won't even make the 8

Manly was outplayed for only 1 half in the opening round. Don't know what the fuss is all about.
Other teams will also have injury concerns throughout the year.

Far, far, far too soon to write a champion club like Manly out of the finals series after one game…pretty much ridiculous. I look forward to reading the dozens of posts about how we will win the comp after we smash a depleted Titans outfit tonight, or conversley how we will miss the 8 after losing an unlosable game......

Another reason why i wouldn't be laughing just yet is what if this news pumps the Titans up tomorrow night?

What if the news of declining fish stocks in the mighty Mississippi fires the Titans up? Or news of the struggling Tibetan dollar fires the Titans up? Christ….footy doesn't require a masters degree in psychology,it is a basic game. If we run hard, tackle hard and minimize our error count then we should win,simple. If we can't notch a win against a team with plenty of players missing we are in for a year as bad as 2014.

Not a bloody thing…..it has as much relevance as what DCE joining the Titans NEXT SEASON has to do with the Titans supposed mindset tonight, he ain't joining them next week.

The place is toxic. Stewart and watmough gone now two best players want out in dce and foran. Matai wanted out. Without the unity they won't make 8 especially if they start poorly ( eg 2.from 6) and start turning on each other. Toovey the new Ricky. Angry ant.

how is toovey the new ricky?

tooves is still a great coach in my book. he's made the 8 every year at manly, including a premiership.

ricky has turned solid clubs into rabbles and then left to do the same elsewhere except at the chooks where all the work was done for him.

Toovey inherited a world class team previously coached and assembled by hasler. For me the coach is the glue and this once superior outfitt has rapidly unstuck under Toovey.

Toovey is a good coach without a doubt. Once a champion team starts losing it's best players of course it is gonna start struggling. Wish we had their attitude and success over the last 10 seasons.

Manly offer him a starting position and extra money and anything could happen

That is why Loyalty is dying fast , if another NRL Club comes along and offers you $100,000+ per Season for doing the same Job ? it wouldn't be easy to knock back .

But there is the odd Story like Tedesco which apparently took a pay cut to stay with us ? I obviously don't know the details but that is what where led to believe?
