Manly had a go at Woods and Both Sirro brothers a year or so ago. They all stuck with us.
They have a couple of good half's in the NYC.
I can see them having a go at some of our props. Hopefully not, but I wouldn't be surprised.

For years they had players accepting less to stay. Matai, watmough, both stewart brothers, lyon. It worked while they were strong and in contention. Unfortunately, the younger guys are not prepared to accept less money to stay with a weakened Manly team.

Toovey inherited the world class team.

He didn't inherit world class management - remember that.

Manly have had issues for ages - even before Toovey was appointed - It's just the team has been winning which has kept everything covered up.

The second things got shaky, the rats deserted.

That is why Loyalty is dying fast , if another NRL Club comes along and offers you $100,000+ per Season for doing the same Job ? it wouldn't be easy to knock back .

But there is the odd Story like Tedesco which apparently took a pay cut to stay with us ? I obviously don't know the details but that is what where led to believe?
