We're only talking about the last 10 rounds. There would only be a few games where nobody involved wasn't in the running. It really wouldn't take that long and you'd have a bit more suspense. The method they used tonight had the excitement and tension of a Charlie Brown Christmas special.

I thought Benji had it in the bag, but Slater is still a worthy winner. Benji's inconsistency through the middle of the season no doubt cost him. He'll win it sooner or later.

I would have loved Benji to win, but feel Billy Slater is a worthy winner, one of the best Ive seen.

So so frustrating to watch this again. Tigers players have got to be the most unluckiest. Farah has lost the Dally M's twice and by ONE point and now Benji loses by two but was deadset robbed! He should have got 3 and not 2 points against Manly… he won us that game on his own and in the Roosters game he should have at least got 1 point! I guess what makes me angry the most is if we played well the entire year Benji should have easily won it...

Yeah Luke I thought he was dudded on that Manly and Rooster game as well.

No use contemplating what ifs though…If JT didnt get injured he would have romped it in. At the end of the day Benji did have the upper hand around origin time and things just didnt work out for him.
