Marty Austin and Jac

I know their long gone but its related to the now.
We released these guys to concentrate on paying over to juniors who have let us down.
And look now.
Marty has already put in 2 x MOM performances against quality away opponents in Easts and Canberra.

Jac has played important parts in Storms victorys as a winger against us and Dogs.
And Austin done more for us and Canberra than Moses.

And Farah who was involved in the dirty work of helping to push these guys out fell victim to the guys club thought was the future.

Thats why this hurts now.

How did Farah have any part in pushing them out?????

Well remember reading at the time Farah saying he had spoken to Austin discouraging him because the club was going to go Broses.
Thats why he felt also that the club owed him something he also had his family put players up when new etc.

These 3 can win u a game. Marty against quality including World cup finals.
The club at the time believed Moses more valuable.

Taupau is worth nowhere near what Manly are paying him.
Austin is a one trick pony - and teams have his show and go figured out now.
JAC, still remains to be seen how he ends up.

Marty Taupau was in same boat as teddy and woods. He left primarily because he saw manly as a strong club and us as a weak one. He was never going to stay and was certainly not pushed

You still need value for money. Why pay these guys whatever they want? Let other clubs pay overs and if it comes off then good luck to them.

Losing Addo Carr was pants on head stupid. How we managed to let him go boggles the mind.

I watched him play in NSW Cup a few times.
More often than not he was below average.

Well Thinking for me I would rather Jac to Suli and probably cheaper.

Prefer Marty to Wood$.

And Austin to Mo$e$.

Reckon we would do better with less internal unrest.

But, thats just me.

That's funny because I watched him play in NSW cup a few times and he always scored 2 or 3 tries which is exactly how you can tell someone is a first grader.

Look the facts are, JAC was still young. Last year was his first non NYC year. He wanted to be here. He was a Tigers fan from childhood. It was a dream for him. And he's fast. The fastest maybe. We need guys like him because they are hugely influential to the culture.

James Roberts to me is a class centre and when Jac marked him last year had him worried all night.
Takes a lot of intercepts meaning a smart guy who is a good reader of the play.

All that stuff he sprouted is a load of rubbish.
He may have been a Tigers fan but if he really wanted to play for us he would have put his head down and tried to prove himself and earn a contract. Instead he signed with Melbourne before the season was even halfway done.

I agree, same could be said of Teddy and Woods and look where they took our 'culture'. JAC was an unfortunate loss, coach's decision not to play him and he was offered a fair chance (which most could say he didn't get here with Rankin holding down a wing) under one of the best coaches in the game. Can't fault the guy for that, even if he is a fan he's got a short career so needs to look after himself, not as if he's on the chump change Teddy and our skipper are.

He signed with Melbourne when his manager was aware that WT wanted him and neither he nor JAC informed the club until COP was over, upon which he wanted to renege, but no deal was reached.

Had Koro not left for rah rah, he would still be here.

Yes like Marty.
Club went the broses way and we lost. At least Brooks stayed and he played his best football without Moses.
The loyalty and overs we gave these guys was not returned thats why this hurts.

But the darkest hour is just before dawn and Cleary is driving the bus.

Melbourne saw korobete as a first grade winger and snapped him up,tigers barely gave him a shot in first grade,Melbourne saw Addo-car and saw a first grade winger and snapped him up,he got a few more games in firsts then koro, but with Rankin always picked ahead of you im sure he saw his future as pretty glim,Melbourne saw Papenhuyzen as a young talented back with a big future and snapped him up…..can you see a pattern here?
The storm keep stealing our players from underneath the Wests Tigers noses because the club is too slow at recognizing talent and securing it.
