MATT LODGE...

I'm sure he has talent, but he sounds like a bit of a douchebag. Throw in that story about that stuff that he wrote on his wrist tape. As far as him being compared to Sam Burgess by the end of the yr, Yes, i admit i've never seen him play, but i'm comfortable enough to call massive BS on that.

He seems to have pretty big raps. Weird that the Storm released him.

I thought he punched someone on the Storms staff and got shown the door. No proof just something I thought I read?

Rumour has it he offered Bellamy outside for not picking him in 1st grade

This is the rumour, I m under the impression that had more to do with Bellemy disrespecting him and he called him out. ..the guys I know down there denied it happened at all, so who knows

Lodge was off contract at the end of 2014 and wanted to return to Sydney, he had either already signed or agreed to join the Tigers from 2015, Bellamy told him he might as well go now, so the rumour goes that he told Bellamy they could take it out to the car park.

I'm pretty stoked he's signed till 2017…
First I've heard of it though but glad we won't be losing him any time soon.

Massive future.

All rising stars show some sort of brilliance, some go off the rails and some learn to handle the class rise….

Lodge in my opinion will absolutely show NRL class of a high degree...

He will be outstanding...and I hope he takes full advantage of the opportunity he has been given....

Theres a not very flattering photo of him at the cambo open training session, he looks overweight unfit and fat

Im hearing Bellamy had Lodge's pic photo shopped to make him look fat. I guess that was Bellamy's idea of revenge towards Lodge for leaving.

We're lucky JT has experience in these situations…..

Yeah true…photos of me are always unflattering too

Else maybe you have a distorted mirror at home that gives you an illusion of otherwise

Luckily, my mirror only adds a couple of kilos.

Looking forward to Lodge developing.

Wests Tigers can confirm that Matthew Lodge has been charged by the NSW Police following an altercation in the early hours of Sunday 11 January 2015.

The Club finds Lodge’s actions unacceptable and is cooperating fully with the NRL Integrity Unit.

Lodge was stood down from training for one week due to a breach of Club protocol and further punishment will be considered once the NRL Integrity Unit has concluded investigating the matter.

Wests Tigers will make no further comment at this time.

Lodge was my standout for 2015….I hope his attitude changes or he won't be with us at all.....

Another one in the limelight and can't handle it......

Given his history of stuff ups I guess its not surprise.

Hopefully its nothing too major and serves as a bloody wake up call to live in the real world.

Wests Tigers prop Matt Lodge has been stood down from training after being arrested earlier this month, with the NRL's Integrity Unit launching an investigation into the incident.

Reports emerged on Wednesday that Lodge, who was sanctioned by the NRL last year for writing "c***" on his wrist strapping while playing for NSW in their Under-20s State of Origin fixture, was arrested earlier this month in notorious Sydney nightspot Kings Cross.

According to reports, Lodge, who has played four NRL games for the Tigers, after joining them from Melbourne last season, was arrested after refusing to leave a Kings Cross nightclub.

Stick by him or else he will end up going to Roosters or Dogs and becoming an international player.
