You know what annoys me - when I pay for my membership they tell me I will here all the news first as a member and then stuff like this gets annouced on Channel 9 news

As for Mbye I think he did a better job then many make out and just because the quality of the squad is low doesent make someone a bad Captain. Think it did however effect his form so hopefully he strikes back and has a great year

Respect all opinions but really don’t understand the need for some to be so vindictive towards our players. Yep they make mistakes and sometimes frustrate us but they do give their all. (Just wait until they leave the club then all bets are off).

He seemed far from the guy kicking rocks , we were told about a few weeks back. He seems like a bloke , who would have been gutted , but realised his own form was significantly lacking the last couple of years , and he doesn’t need the burden of captaincy .
I have high hopes for Mbye this year , I sneaky think he will be our best player , and return to the form that earned him his contract in the first place .

Agree mate. I hope he has a cracking year. Though I’ll be the first to admit I’m not sure where he stands IF Laurie is as good as said. I think Maguire will go 2 hookers so no room for a utility on the bench.

I hope you are right. I had high hopes for Mbye, only to be disappointed. I would love to see him perform well.

It's a good move for Mbye and the club.
He's a respected player but too reticent to be captain.

I'm not with the lynch mob on Mbye either.
He's a good player. Overpaid, sure. But still a decent player.

I think he'll show that this year.
