Benji leaving won't stop the media trash, one of two will happen:

a) Benji plays well for souths: Tigers are stupid for letting him go

b) Benji plays reserve grade all year: Souths great recruitment strategy getting an experienced back up half for so cheap, Tigers are stupid for letting him go.

The only way to shut the media up is for us to win footy games. Otherwise it's a lose lose situation for us regardless.

3 finals appearances in 16 years with Benji in charge of majority of them. Thanks for the highlights but sooner he retires and our club can completely cut ties the better.
