While he clearly had mental issues, i don’t think he was a child molester. He didn’t help his cause by promoting the fact he shared his bed with children, as innocent as it might have been intended to be. He was his own worst enemy at times, bringing his troubles on himself. He really was Peter Pan. He never grew up.

What annoys me in all this is you have to question parents who let their kids stay at a persons place who is single and doesn't have kids of his own and isn't family

In NSW, its likely to be illegal.I think you would find Family and Community Affairs would see this as child abuse as defined by the legislation.

Child Abuse does not necessarily involve molestation. Just by way of example, an attack on the mother is deemed to be an attack on the child even if the child was not injured. Just saying…....

I wouldn't let my kids do that, no way. But MJ himself thought it was okay, hence why he got into so much trouble, as he (probably) just kept doing it and didn't understand why he was getting into trouble.

The parents I hope knew it wasn't true, and just wanted the cash of settlements. Either that or they believed he was innocent.
