Problem I have with this is that Farah's contract was announced in March of 2013, Mayer didn't become CEO of the club till July 26th 2013, So how on earth did he apparently make this decision on Farah's contract ? It was Humphreys not Mayer !!

Farahs signing was announced well before he put pen to paper, he signed whilst Mayer was in charge.
Well if the deal was done long before, it's not Mayers fault.
I think that Mayer was completely slimy, but he can't be blamed if the deal was already done and the board agreed with that
Looks to me like Potter has the grumps because because Mayer recommended shafting him to the new board
