IF HE WAS AT ANY OTHER CLUB HE WOULDNT HAVE THE CLUB CAPTAIN BACKSTABBING HIS EVERY MOVE AND ESCAPING CAPTAINS INTERVIEWS BURROWING LIKE A RAT UNDER A FENCE TO GET INTO A WAITING SUBARU EITHER.CAPS SORRY.

I hope the name Mick Potter keeps coming up on here for years, well for as long as Farah is at the club and we have supporters too blinded to see what happened this year.

I hope that this is the last of the Mick Potter discussions.

He no longer has anything to do with our club. So can we please let him go. Please.

YOU control what threads YOU enter.
Worry about yourself, not everyone else.

The guy should still be apart of this club and had he been given full control of the team and his own staff we would have made the 8 and we would have won the comp. He never stood a chance with a tosser of a ceo and his own support staff gunning for his job oh and a captain who thinks he runs the show. As for the new board where have they been hiding to see that all the issues came from everyone else but Potter.

Saw what happened this year just like you - just formed a different opinion.

I think it is pathetic the amount of crap Farah is getting in here.

We would have won about 4 games without him this year. Potter should be thankful because without him he looked disgustingly bad even early in the season.

The club has 100 bigger problems then the captain, and our most consistently performing player. I know he should have handled things better however he has admitted that. I would be angry to if the CEO was editing his press conferences and the CEO sanctioned this mid year review. But lets give all the flak to Farah, not Mayer! (it worked Grant!)

Lets make Farah the scap goat though fo why we are a basket case. Id rather he be furious we are so bad then be happy and eat money like Lawrence, Galloway, Moltzen, Blair etc. Those blokes are senior players in cruise mode. What would you rather?

Yeah lets get rid of Robbie and watch us win the comp. Please! He should have left a few years ago but he is too loyal. Farah is a winner, and has a winners mentality. I know he is far from perfect but i dont blame him for the state this club is in.

Robbie needs to learn to be a winner off the field. You can try as hard as you like on the field if your teammates think your captain is a two faced troublemaker good luck with your dreams of winning.Loyal as in 4.5 million for 5 years aswell as a self declared allowance to hire and fire coaches as he pleases. No that aint loyalty pal.But your loyalty to Robbie to the detriment of Wests Tigers is duly noted.

I hope he can see himself ok to continue training with the kangaroos after Potter just said something about him in the media.

I think Robbie is great as a player, when he wants to be… However the guy is our captain, he gets paid double the wages of the President of the USA. He is paid the salary of a high end CEO who leads and controls thousands of employees, yet our so called captain wants to have a sook and take the day off, when the team he is captain of, is facing one of only 24 games during the year.

I cannot wait for the day he is replaced as captain, I would like him to stay but if he chooses to leave so be it. Penrith have shown what can be done by removing the egos out of their team and they are under the salary cap. For $900k I am sure we can find a replacement hooker and another class player and finish no worse then what we have the last 2 seasons.

The last 6 weeks of the season has pretty much cemented why he should never be the captain of this club again. He needs work on his mental strength and then start leading on the field like senior players within other organisations do,

Farah bashing???Are you serious???Remember the week before the St george game and we had just smashed the dogs(Potters game plan looked pretty darn good that week didnt it???)Then Wobbie gate comes out and the players as a whole throw the season. You think its Potter they were angry at ???Please try again.I see these players a lot and they go out in large groups you know who the one constant player missing is in all these social outings?????Yep Robbie Farah.FACT.

So let me get this right - Farah and Mayer cant stand each other, Farah and Potter don't get along either and now Robbie" king of the boys club" also doesn't get along with the players - yet somehow with all that influence over everyone and everything he is solely responsible for getting rid of Potter and all that is wrong at Wests Tigers!!!!! I suggest therapy

Maybe it would bes best to replace him as skipper, although im struggling to think of candidates?. Potter said he gets too emotional. I think thats true.

Anyway, i only really care about on field performances and he tries his guts out on the park. Then you have a heap of other players, plus Mayer and old board, hiding behind the "lets all blame Robbie". I just think its wrong.

I just don't like it. Sure he could have handled it better. However i think he was hung out to dry. Feel sorry for Potter though. I just think both Potter and Farah have been made to look bad by a CEO that is a fool and an old board that had no idea.

Friends in high places. Thankfully the old board is gone.

Farah has ALWAYS been a difficult and a moody person . It's the same reason that the blues didn't appoint a vice captain for this years series . The FACT is that nobody wanted him in that role .

Him going behind everyone's back to have a whinge at the board through a sponsor.
Not quelling the "potter can't coach " drama .
Not fronting up at the post match pressers .
Jumping the fence at Campbelltown .
Not wanting to play in the dragons game.
I don't care what the Farah lovers think . He's lost me !

This entire forum is the biggest group of drama queens I've ever seen.
The same threads were here last year about benji with people praising farah as the heart and soul of the club.
Next year I'm sure someone will find a reason to hate Woodsy and we'll have that roller coaster.
If you're all so desperate for drama, Days of our Lives is still running, watch that instead

Bold and the Beautiful is better !

The reality of the entire situation is that without Robbie, we wouldn't have won the Cowboys game, the Manly game, the Rabbitohs game, the first sharks game and a plethora of others. The real test of his character is how he reacts now to a new coach. Because let's be honest, he won us more games than Mick's coaching ever did this year.

Robbie put himself in it and has no one else to blame for his actions his paid $900k to play and to lead the team not rubbish the coach and team members. Passion aside he need to know when to speak and when not to and to choose who he speaks to very carefully… Just because he didn't get his way for two years doesn't mean he has to act like a child when the truth comes out and run when the team need him most.
