Mitch Moses Denied Release - Confirmed

His Gould believes the two were destined to split as they are both halfbacks. We have all seen what two turnstiles do to the defence. I think Cleary is making the right call we can't carry Brooks and Moses and Brooks signed on a reasonable contract 550k. I believe we will sign Teddy and Moses as a result. As for a release I would be after Manu May and do it now.

Based on that statement I guess the Brooks re-signing is false.

I think the opposite. I think the fact he wasnt mentioned means he is out of the equation and is stitched up.

Kudos to the club for clarifying.
It seems like a logical decision on their part, and they have probably had enough of being besmirched by leeches like Moses senior, who is now surely feeding James Hooper more nonsense to make us work harder to land teddy and woods.

You know what, if the price of keeping our best players is having to go through this every couple of years then another club can have them, despite the fact it will take a
long time to replace the two rep standard players we have.

As the rugby league gods decreed long ago.

No one is bigger than the club
No one is irreplaceable
There is no game without the fans

I'm very happy coming on the forum now and reading the comments of a united fan base. When the results turn around trust me, this is going to feel really good!

I'd say it's the complete opposite. They didn't mention him because he's signed. They haven't announced it because it's in the cooling off period.

Sounds like they pulled the deal when Cronk became a possibility. The timing is all too coincidental.

Friday 3 year 3 million dollar deal.
Monday Cronk is on the market.
Wednesday wait no wait deals off.

I would say Brooks has got in quick and Moses was left high and dry and his release request is because he knows it.

Cronk will Never Ever play for a unstable club like ours

Decision making from top to bottom stinks at our club

A top player as Cronk wouldnt want additional dramas and finishing his career with rubbish memories

Strong leadership from the club. A good deal is one you are prepared to walk away from.

Absolutely. It would be one thing to cower in negotiations with an elite player but doing it to the likes of Moses and Brooks would be embarrassingly stupid.
Great day for the club

Parramatta are about to redevelop their leagues club. Perhaps uncle Benny & the clan see another business opportunity.

Hahahahah poor Moses copped all of this and it was the club who told him he wasn't required. Good decision though.

If you believe that ..I have a bridge for sale..

cant wait to see what big mouth uncle Benny comes out with tomorrow..
Surely he will say Mitch has been hard done by the tigers ..

We hedge our bets on this bloke and let a talent like Te Marie Martin leave and let Austin leave whilst on contract because we thought Moses would develop into an elite player and this is the loyalty he shows? But wait hindsight a beautiful thing right. :crazy
It be great if he could play for parra in a couple weeks at least we would get a minimum 3 try's down his side guaranteed

I dont think Cronk has any real bearing on it (in that I dont think he will be coming here or even us chasing him) but Tigers Management would be happy to play the game.

Sometimes you have to cut your losses and stop throwing good money after bad.

He's done nothing to justify that price tag.

Did we seriously offer 3m for 3 years or is this a gee up

we did, on April 1st before pulling it off the table and saying "aprils fool" !

Hence he has cracked the poops and wants to leave

Not confirmed anywhere, just speculation, I think on behalf of James Hooper.

Smoking gun as you know has popped back up, he reckons the offer was somewhere $700-750K per season.

Considering Corey Norman is reported as having been re-signed by Parra last year at $733K per season, I'm going to say the latter suggestion from SG has more credibility.

Best news, it just keeps getting better and better.
All the right noises are happening since Ivan been appointed.

Go and have a cry, they only wanted to extend there option they had in there favour for 1 more year when they ( Brooks and Moses) had a deal on the table and delay our planning of potential future players being signed from the open market, they thought they would be smart and it fell in there faces in a big way…...Karma hey.
Brooks had no option to sign with us as there was simply no interest for him anymore, there Manager is a peanut.
